Armani foundation - shade advice needed please!

Hi
I really want to try the new Armani fusion foundation, but it is only avaible through Selfridges or online, so I can't try the shades. Could anyone advise what I should go for? I'm a warm ivory in number 7 (done by the weird machine thing, but I think it's slightly too pale for me) or NC20 in MAC.
Any advice gratefully received
Thanks

Should have told you what the site does Smile basically you put in the colours of the foundations you use at the moment and it colour matches you to other makes of foundations

Why do u want that foundation? Foundation is best from a make up brand rather then a fashion brand. Also if you haven't checked the texture of the foundation on your skin how do you know it will not be too oily/dry?

It's had absolutely rave reviews, so I thought I'd give it a go. Thanks for the website, really helpful, but I'm now baulking at spending this much (£38) without trying it, so may have to hang on until I find a Selfridges.
Thanks again

Try contacting a store and ask them to post a sample?

There's an Armani make up stand in my local John Lewis.

You're welcome Grin

No idea about shades though as I have had a sample of one but not that one.

I use an Armani foundation (luminous silk) in 2 which is the palest shade in that one-I am super pale (NC15ish) and it's a good colour on me.

Also, as an MUA, I really rate their make up, as well as some other fashion brands, particularly Tom Ford, Chanel and YSL.

I am an NC20 in MAC and I wear the Armani Fusion in shade 5. It's a very unique foundation, more suited to oily or normal skin than dry, as it can cling to patches. It has good lasting power, not the greatest coverage, but looks very natural. I really like it actually, used as a base layer, with Armani lasting silk layered on top. Great for my oily skin.

Armani make absolutely beautiful foundations. As do Givenchy, Dolce and Gabbana, YSL etc. But Armani is my favourite.

Thanks Quinn, that;s really helpful. I had thought I might be a 5, so I'll see if I can get a sample sent out. Sounds ideal for me, as I don't want a lot of coverage, more just evening out of my complexion.
Thanks again for all the advice. I do love MN - where else would I get such a useful answer to such a random question!

There was a GA counter in Leeds Harvey Nichols last time I was in there.
