here is my dress.

I have bought these shoes but have now seen these shoes.

Which do you prefer?

It's a register office ceremony followed by a bbq at home in August. I like the pointy toe on the pair I have bought and like the height of the other pair.

I like the second ones best to be honest

Is it an unfortunate coincidence or can you see the model's pants on the second picture of that dress? A look to be avoided on the day I'd suggest, but otherwise op, it's a lovely dress and I wish you every good thing for your wedding.

Gorgeous dress. Neither pair of shoes will be much good on a lawn though! I like both pairs, but would be tempted to buy a pair of sparkly ballet shoes to change into, as well! I think I like the second pair better, as they are more of a statement and I do love a platform. :)

I prefer the 1st ones.

Wow, lovely dress and shoes...

Would depend for me on a) do you 'need' height and b) how comfortable do you find heels?

I think higher heels have lots of 'visual' benefits - elongating the leg etc. And I think they can look more glam and your wedding day is a day for glamour. So I think I'd go for the higher heel.....

Oh dear, I can see her pants!! I'll have to chose a nude underwear colour.

Good point regarding the lawn, perhaps some nice flip flops on standby or ballet pumps as you suggested.

I originally was looking for gold court shoes but couldn't find any I liked. My daughters are wearing fuchsia pink dresses so I'll match them. I think I'll have to go and try a pair on.

Lovely lovely dress but pants definitely visible in the photo. Some experimentation with slips/lining needed?

2nd pair without a doubt. yes definitely go for nude undies or some miniscule knickers!!
Real statement shoes with dress, you'll look amazing

Gorgeous dress, but the first thing I noticed was the pants too!

Personally with that dress, for an August ceremony, I would go for gold or silver sandals. I think closed toe shoes will look a bit odd (although I love the hot pink as a colour).

Personally, I'd go for nude heels - they make the legs look longer and are very elegant. Just have to make sure that the colour matches your skin tone - too light/dark/orange/pink can end up looking a bit off.
And then a pair of pink flats/sandals for when in the garden :)

I think both of the pink shoes are fine, I prefer the second pair though.

I would wear the most comfortable pair tbh and invisible knickers

Lovely dress OP, what a good find! Congratulations.

is it weird that I don't mind the visible pants look?

As soon as I saw the dress I thought 'that needs a pair of pointy courts'. I wasn't expecting your choice to be pink, but think it really works! So, the first ones get my vote.

I'm 5'4" and don't wear heels regularly. I like heels when I have them on and find them okay to walk in. It looks like pair number 2 is the preferred choice by most.

There is a gold zip at the back of the dress which is why I originally wanted gold shoes. I also wanted to go with toes exposed but I like the formality of the closed court.

There is no colour theme, but I liked that I would match my girls dresses.

LK Bennett have a really short refund policy of 7 days so if they are not the shoes and I want my money back I have to make my mind up by Friday. They will exchange after those 7 days.

Wow!!! Love the dress.

I like both shoes - but the first pair, to me, seems to go better. With it being a mini length shift it has a 60s feel - and the pointed courts fit that theme.

Have you tried the shoes on with the dress? Go for comfort. (old fart here). Also I would get a nice pair of flats for later on - as has been said, lawns and heels don't work.. I ruined my wedding shoes ):

YY to nude pants also :)

Vibbe, I know what you mean about the shade, I think at the moment with the shade my legs are they don't suit me 100%, but with a bit of a light spray tan, that ought to do it!

I like the first ones, but either would be lovely - I would go with the most comfy.

I also think that the colour is beautiful - would def stick to that instead of gold/silver.

Lovely dress too.

Hope you have a fab wedding!

I find most LK Bennett shoes pretty uncomfortable. Have you tried them on and walked on carpet on them, LoveGigi?

I definitely prefer the second pair, they have more va va voom. I love the idea of them matching the bridesmaid's dresses.

Plus the dress is fab.

Congratulations, I hope you and you STBDH have a fab day and that you look and feel glorious

I love the dress - and no knickers is what I'd do personally.

I much prefer the first pair of shoes - I really think platforms have had their day.

But I agree with lula that I find lkbennett shoes incredibly uncomfortable. Have you looked on matches/nap as their sales are either on or just about to start.

Great touch having shoes match bridesmaidsSmile I love that colour. Slightly prefer the second pair, but both very nice.

Yes to sorting out a decent slip. I don't think I'd go no undies. I'd be too worried about some sort of exposure type wardrobe malfunction.

No knickers on your wedding day? What if you tripped and fell over at the altar (or whatever they have at registry offices) and Everyone Saw?

You are making me feel anxious just thinking about it.

I love the dress.

Are you having the shoes in blue? I wore a similar dress and blue suede shoes, they looked amazing!

Arrr I missed you were having them the same colour as your bridesmaid dresses.

I love the shape of the second pair, not keen on the first pair at all.

And I really do not recommend that you go knickerless with a dress of that length. Unless you want your wedding day to remembered by your your friends and relatives for all the wrong reasons.

You cannot go knicker less on your wedding day!!!!
