Ok..I'm not normally a Style kinda girl, but here goes.
Am off on hols in about 3 weeks. Need stuff for going in pool/sea etc.
All those 'dress to suit your body shape' articles are pants, cos I am a mix of the shapes!! I have practically no boobs so slapping lycra over them turns me into an actual 13yo boy! I'm happy with general dress size really (10 on average) but have short stumpy legs and wobbly hips plus have a pre-baby tummy (fine in clothes, but when exposed...eeek).

Any thoughts? Asked DH what he thought and he grinned and suggested a bin bag!! Git! Grin

maybe:
halterneck and/or underwired padded cups for chest oomph.
high-ish cut legholes will make legs look longer, but low legs will hide wobbly hips - your call which you'd rather do - I'd go for high myself.
would say all-in-one rather than bikini if not happy with tummy
whatever you get, see if you can get one that's flowery/patterned / interesting round the chest and plain below
and get a sarong that tones (think matching exactly is too contrived) and wraps right round, without revealing dancing-girl gap.

Must confess I wear a bikini as passable tummy distracts attention from my ghastly bum - I sling on a sarong the minute I get out the water, leaving skinny ribcage & boobs on show and hiding bottom half.

thank you everyone! My last hunt for swimming stuff lead to a panicking last minute purchase of a matt black, ribbed all in one (What the utter F*ck was I doing?????) from debenhams which I have thankfully never ever ever worn.
am now thinking probably plain short type btms with poss halter and poss 'tankini' style top, poss with a pattern which will def have to have some sort of assistance bust-wise (but don't wnat the uber-padded look)
I have a sarong - cotton not polyester...

that's the sort of thing OO!
(and jessajam, if you are boobless like me, you can if you want to look lovely, wear a strapless bra underneath. I do sometimes on the beach so 13 year-old girls don't sneer atme too much!)

I would go for the shorts and tankini myself

have you seen those hideous swimsuits with cutout bits at the side? will try and find

I have a further cossie question! I have pale skin and fair (chemically enhanced Wink) hair and do not really tan. What colour of bikini should I go for?

I always struggle with this. I steer clear of white because think that needs a tan to look good, and of various brown/red/orange shades because of worry about clashing with skin. So I always seem to end up in blue/turquoise shades. Any alternatives?

Will pink go with slightly tinged pink skin? I could give choc. brown a try. I am not buying yet because we are not on hols until the end of August so I thought I would wait for the sales.
