Shoes I meant

I wear my navy dresses either with a non matching navy jacket or a cream or beige jacket. Shoes either nude or non matching navy. Black with navy never works from my experience as it seems to dull down the outfit.

Navy is one of the 'neutrals' so you can wear pretty much any strong colour with it - red, fuschia, green, turquoise, maroon etc. Then match or co-ordinate the shoes to your jacket / cardigan / scarf.

It used to be one of The Rules of Fashion to never wear navy and black together, but I believe that it is yet another Rule that has gone out of the window these days.

Burgundy shoes look great with navy.

Black and navy was all the rage last year on the runway and it looked great. As long as the shade of navy doesn't look almost black.

I wear my navy dresses with black, nude or red shoes for work. Jacket wise I tend to wear grey or like today, I have a navy and white striped jacket on (looks better than it sounds!)

I've just bought gold LK Bennett heels to go with a Navy dress...

I wear red or tan shoes with my favourite navy dress. Jacket wise, a cream or tan (with the red shoes!).

I'd go with silver or tan. Nude also good but I dont care for that colour shoe on me.

I've seen people wearing brights like yellow, apple green or mustard with navy and that also looks good.
