Nivea in-shower moisturise

Just had to let all you lovelies know that this is a great product. I had a freebie in a magazine and immediately bought a big bottle after trying it. I hate putting on body lotion as it takes ages to sink in, but this is used in the shower and rinsed off. It has made a difference to my really dry legs in a couple of days. On special offer in Superdrug at moment too.

Will give it a whirl. I can't stand moisturising. Can't bear the clammy, tacky feeling. This has been done before though. Olay had a version out at one point.

Nivea's marketing department have been posting on mumsnet today over that terrible "headless women in a tank" viral advert event. Perhaps they will send you a free box.?

Bought, used, no discernible difference.

Is it 2 for £3.00 - frangipani, lime etc?

I bought it and hated it. Feels like pig fat and skanked up my shower. Binned.

Shock just read that thread Yoni. Really, marketing for body stuff is shit. Regressive stuff - at least it used to be 'time for me' bullshit, now it's 'my body is good enough to be ogled' disguised as some kind of advanced feminist thinking about women's bodies Sad

Will avoid Nivea, plenty other (better) alternatives.

Yes that's good way to describe it. It's weird and depressive - I wonder if they know that they're alienating their potential or existing customers?

Just read that thread and it reminds me of a bar in Manila that my male colleagues used to frequent where naked women swam in a fish tank behind the bar. Not sure how empowered they were.

I can't see how something you wash off and then towel dry afterwards could be moisturising.

Lambzig - I thought that too but it does seem to make actual difference to my skin which normally feels like the Sahara.
I didn't know about the Covent garden thing when I posted. Just liked the product and thought I would let others know.
