For summer.

MsWinnieBaygo Sat 11-May-13 21:46:44

Nay. It looks like a lampshade.

Plus I imagine it would be difficult to see where you are actually walking when wearing it.

dexter73 Sat 11-May-13 21:48:33

It's huge! Is it for an occasion or for just out and about?

Nagoo Sat 11-May-13 21:49:13

Unless you are Margo and Jerry will be nearby to guide you everywhere.

pictish Sat 11-May-13 21:49:49

Where would you wear something like that?

pictish Sat 11-May-13 21:50:54

Negotiating doorways could be difficult.

MrsLettuce Sat 11-May-13 21:54:39

better? Ignore the first picture.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie Sat 11-May-13 21:54:43

Sorry but no.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie Sat 11-May-13 21:55:10

And even more no to the 2nd one.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie Sat 11-May-13 21:56:07

Oh you mean the straw not the pink? Still no but a smaller no.

MrsLettuce Sat 11-May-13 21:58:25

Fuck no, not pink.

A small no is good wink

Wolfcub Sat 11-May-13 21:59:57

erm, no!

What's it FOR?

MrsLettuce Sat 11-May-13 23:38:22

Oh right, yes, for summer. As in I'm not in the UK (but not somewhere hot, just a bit warmer) and I struggle once it gets above 21 degrees. A sun hat is apparently advisable.

MrsLettuce Sat 11-May-13 23:40:22

I like these ones (I know they're odd) but was worried the first one, which looks better made was too big. I fancy big but not continent sized.

MsWinnieBaygo Sat 11-May-13 23:56:23

Yes, the first one is definitely too big grin. I can understand the need for a sunhat and whilst I'm personally not keen at all ever on that style the stripey second one that you linked is better IMO

MrsLettuce Sun 12-May-13 11:26:00

Thanks all! I appreciate your directness grin

ReluctantlyBeingYoniMassaged Sun 12-May-13 11:26:55

The first one looks like a popadom.

LowLevelWhinging Sun 12-May-13 11:32:21

surely something like this from topshop is what you're after?

Rather than a mother of the bride thing?

bulletwithbutterflywings Sun 12-May-13 11:39:03

Are you Windy Miller? ;)

MrsLettuce Sun 12-May-13 11:48:53

Can't get the top shop link to work on my phone but if it's a floppy job then no, floppy hats prickle my otherwise under control OCD.

I LOVE windy miller's hat!

MrsHelsBels74 Sun 12-May-13 13:12:24

I'd say no but then no-one likes the sandals I posted so who am I to comment?

EeyoreIsh Sun 12-May-13 13:15:21

I love the top hat! But I look stupid in normal size hats as have broad shoulders. grin

TSSDNCOP Sun 12-May-13 13:17:33

mrs your post made me laugh out loud, but don't be coming here hoping for a sympathy yay on those hideous hoof covers on your thread grin
