Where can I get comfy jeans ( not skinny ones and not ones that display your crack and your knickers when you bend down to deal with your toddler) ?

I am 5ft 3. Got some great jeans from Next a few years ago. Ordered the same style recently and they have changed the material to a nasty cheap thin certainly not denim jean... Was only 70% cotton.

Tell me where the jean for us little folk are hidden?

It might be worth going in to a Next and trying a few pairs, though. I bought some lovely patterned petite jeans recently, and they have become a fast favourite. It's hit and miss, I think, like everywhere on the high street these days. I do think their petite section has some decent offerings, albeit sporadically!

Could also try New Look - I'm not a fan, but they do offer petite jeans which get occasional rave reviews. Dotty P's, also.

You could also searching for regular sized crop jeans.

ooh ToastedTeacakes - you are my personal shopper. Thank you.

Forgotten that DP did a petite range. A pair there look good. Though those from Selfridges - J Brand look gorgeous.

I used to always buy from New Look but they don't last long and I also found the Next quality has gone down too. I bought a lovely pair from Topshop which have kept their shape and look brand new even after 6 months of wear. They are skinny cut though but I'm sure they do other styles. I hope so anyway because I'm after some bootcuts.

Next still do decent denim ones but you would have to go into one of their bigger stores to find them. I used to like the petite jeans from there but the quality has gone down.

I did get a good pair from debenhams too, but again it was shopping rather than through the web.

Some of those links are brilliant though.

I've recently found H&M to be great for jeans as you buy by waist size in inches and leg length, rather than size 8, 10, etc. The quality has been great too, lovely thick material with just a little bit of stretch and no baggy knees!
