Can anyone suggest an alterntive to the beautiful nude /taupe LK Bennett sledge shoe - possibly a cheaper alternative?

I have been researching this today as I ordered the sledge shoe but they are really high and I don't see the, being comfy. My research had come up with the following

Hobbs

marks and spencer

m&s again but higher

Thanks Crutchlow - I ordered the 39 which were waaaaay too small and the 40 was falling off my foot, so the sizing does seem to be a bit off as Im a regular size 40 in most shoes. Quite disappointed as I've been saving up for these shoes for months and had used all my recent ebay sales proceeds to buy them...but back they've gone! I will check out the m/s ones now...

I've got the synthetic £19.50 M and S ones that look identical to the leather ones for £49.50 and they are lovely, I'm not generally a fan of cheap shoes but was really pleased with them. I saw the leather version reviewed in a mag recently and they were highly praised - might get those too, in another colour!

Actually, yes I have the £19.50 M&S ones too in black and red but they make my feet smell!

Haha, I guess if you wear them every day they would do!!! My feet are naturally quite cheesy but I only wear heels for nights out at the moment so I am (hopefully) getting away with it. Smile
