I have one hour tomorrow to buy a present for my friend so any suggestions welcome. I had thought of a bracelet but she's just been given a silver links bracelet and a silver bangle so am back to the drawing board...

I like the Stella and dot things but are they mail order? I've got to pick the present up tomorrow as am seeing her tomorrow night. nothing like leaving it to the last minute

MrsLettuce Tue 07-May-13 21:53:56

Maybe silver earrings? A silk scarf? What's her ssort of style?

MrsLettuce Tue 07-May-13 21:54:43

Can you get to a big department store?

Nehru Tue 07-May-13 21:55:27

Oh yes. Rats.

LittlePebble Tue 07-May-13 21:56:09

She likes turquoise jewellery, her favourite colour is peacock green, she tends to wear white company/ h&m/ crew clothing.

She has silver bracelets and silver ring.

(Outed if she reads this!)

I have access to house of Fraser, debenhams, m and s, a couple of jewellers and high st clothes shops

John Lewis have a good few (actual) silk scarves in budget. Slight;y over budget but a bargain worth calling to see if they have one in stock.

LittlePebble Tue 07-May-13 22:07:38

MrsLettuce that's beautiful and would be perfect but I don't have a John Lewis near me (argh bloody living in the countryside!)

LittlePebble Tue 07-May-13 22:09:26

Sunday that's lovely (might have to pick one up myself) but she isn't a scarf wearer.

MrsLettuce Tue 07-May-13 22:10:40

Oh fuck, sorry.

LittlePebble Tue 07-May-13 22:12:48

Not your fault!

I live in the midst of nowhere with no exciting shops anywhere.... I have to drive 45mins just to get to Debenhams and M & S!

MrsLettuce Tue 07-May-13 22:17:47

I used to live somewhere just like that. Not fun for shops and the buses. Gah.

Is there a hippy-type shop in town? They often do turquoise-in-silver for a reasonable price.

LittlePebble Tue 07-May-13 22:28:38

Yes there may be, I'll have to venture out of the mall and see what I can find. I can see a panic purchase coming on.

MrsLettuce Tue 07-May-13 22:41:17

No random wonderings! Google about a bit and call before, don;t want to risk wastign time.

simple but lovely. No knowing if they have it. Call 'em.

MrsLettuce Tue 07-May-13 22:45:40

Oh, and as an emergency back up, do you knwo what her favourite perfume is? Not perfect but nevre wrong.

LittlePebble Tue 07-May-13 22:53:13

That necklace is nice, wasn't expecting that in debenhams. Will have a look tomorrow.

No not sure which is her perfume. I could find out from her DP though if I run out of time. Thanks Lettuce :-)
