I am clearly a freak, please find me some trousers.

I am a fairly average (or so I thought) size 16, tallish woman. I do however have large calves. In winter this means I have to buy very expensive boots from Duo, and it now appears that in summer, I cannot wear trousers.

I have tried on these TopShop, and I couldn't even get them over my calves, let alone on, along with about 10 pairs over every high st shop.

Without having to resort to elasticated granny trousers, where can I go?
