here I neeeeeeeeeeed those shoes (or similar and cheaper) where can I find such beauties? I've searched Dune, Aldo, NL, Office but no luck...if you've seen anything like them and can point me in the right direction i'd be very happy smile

No joy at Debenhams, Asos or Topshop...

FauxFox Tue 07-May-13 11:58:32

Nothing at RI...

FauxFox Tue 07-May-13 12:01:32

not on NAP

Startail Tue 07-May-13 12:01:57

It's a horrible dress and I'd look daft in the shoes.
But I'll bump this thread for you.

FauxFox Tue 07-May-13 12:04:01

or Selfridges...

FauxFox Tue 07-May-13 12:06:15

I know star the dress is gross. Actually in the dreaded DM they hadf and article with all the dresses from the Met Ball and I would be hard pressed to be willing to wear any of them - they were mostly absolutely awful! And it must be a challenge to make all those top models and actresses look so rough! But I do love those shoes.....

Thumbwitch Tue 07-May-13 12:07:09

They're Manolo Blahnik - here

Thumbwitch Tue 07-May-13 12:09:37

Sorry, you'd probably worked that out, hey blush

tethersend Tue 07-May-13 12:10:04

The shoes are by Tabitha Simmons I think, but I can't find them anywhere... Are these similar?

tethersend Tue 07-May-13 12:14:15

Actually, I don't think they are tabitha Simmons. Ignore me grin

Thumbwitch Tue 07-May-13 12:14:35

try this pinterest page to see if there's anything similar that you like - I found some similar Valentino ones but they're the sameish sort of price.

FauxFox Tue 07-May-13 12:18:13

No luck at Karen Millen, Gina or Jimmy Choo sites...

FauxFox Tue 07-May-13 12:21:16

thumb that link is to shoes with a chain ankle strap? The ones I want have asymmetric thin straps on the foot and no ankle strap...i'll look more in a mo, got to pick up DS...

No you're right - I thought they were the Blahnik ones because when you rest your mouse on that photo of Emma Watson, they show you the shoes to get "the look" and it's the Blahnik ones they link to; however, not the same as the ones she's wearing.

I did find some Dior black satin sandals that looked more similar ankle-strap wise, but possibly open-toed, on that pinterest page - but they're not showing up on the Dior site, dunno why. Probably equally heinous in price though!

NotAQueef Tue 07-May-13 12:37:30

Are these similar? here
I don't think they are louboutins as hers look like they have a nude sole

FauxFox Tue 07-May-13 12:43:42

Those are nice noddy but Emma's have the beautiful leg lengthening straps on the foot instead of the bollard-calves inducing ankle straps.

Thumbwitch Tue 07-May-13 12:43:43

Not quite sure, but are they these Louboutin ones?

Thumbwitch Tue 07-May-13 12:44:54

Nope, still not right - the Louboutins have crossed straps. Gah! Nice though...

FauxFox Tue 07-May-13 12:46:17

Yes queef think we can rule out Louboutins...def no red sole. Those are nice though...but not as nice as Emma's ones.

Argh! Where are they? Has she crafted them herself?!

FauxFox Tue 07-May-13 12:48:25

I don't think so thumb, Emma's have one strap attached to the front of the shoe (off centre) with another one coming from it I think...they are so beautiful and dainty and quirky after all this clunky platform stiletto business...I heart them...

Well. This has whiled away an hour at work. smile
Cant find them anywhere.
Are they the same as Carey Mulligans? Look

FauxFox Tue 07-May-13 12:50:53

Not on Barneys either...maybe they are not released to the general public yet?

No theyre not.
