I like bravissimo but they are ££££. Most are way to small for my breasts. I need something that is stretchy yet supportive. Any ideas?

I think M&S do them but I haven't tried them.

Tesco do them!

Cheers, I'm looking now and M&S seem too small for my massive norks. I probably should have mentioned that, sorry Blush .

I too 'need' Bravissimo. Have bought a Bravissimo one this evening (brand new) from eBay for £7.

Grrr, was going to recommend Bravissimo. Never found anything that compares. Sadly they never put the basic vest tops in the sale either.

£26 for secret support and £36 for tops with bras in are very expensive. I'm looking for something to wear when I get in from work with yoga pants. I need a few and this seems like a a massive price to pay. Two I've picked comes to £64. Shock

I've been looking at (pregnancy -no, I'm not expecting) sleep bras, which sometimes come in cotton, and go up to sensible sizes. I'm then planning on a t-shirt on top. Might that work for you?
Contemplating one of these If you find it with cheaper P&P, please let me know!

The bravissimo ones do last forever. I tend to wear one every night for about six months before they start looking a bit tatty and faded, but they keep their supportiveness, even with tumble drying. M&s ones I had in the past used to stretch. Cheap ones are either too small or not actually supportive in any way.

They are really pricey though!

Tesco. They used to do them years ago and then stopped. Just started again this year and I am so pleased. They are by far the best - less structured than some but still fairly supportive.

Oh god this SERIOUSLY ANNOYS me. I used to live in a much hotter country a few years ago and you could buy cotton vest tops with built in support EVERYWHERE for very cheaply.

They are so comfortable to wear in summer. And here in the UK, virtually nada. I can't seem to find any on ebay either. Grrr.

Sorry to jump on your thread AaDB, I will check out these links as well :)

Jump aboard.

My old one came from Debenhams. I'm on a serious mission and will feed back good finds.

It's worth keeping an eye on the bravissimo sale for their PJ tops as they sometimes go in. They're non-wired but the support is still really good and absolutely fine for around the house.

I've also picked up quite a few on Ebay - nothing compares so far I'm afraid!

Just thought I would nip back and add that I was going to wear my new one from Tesco today. Put it on but the fit is horrible, nothing like they used to be. Plenty roomy enough but just not the support that they used to give. I won't be buying any more, and I'm glad tehy only had one in my size when I got that one.

So, watching this thread with renewed interest Grin.

There is free delivery for Debenhams the moment so I have ordered:

this one is £14
D-GG cup £12! I have high hopes for this one.

Bravissimo is so expensive that I'm going to find a store to visit to check them out before I buy one.

I have feedback Grin

The first black Jasper Conran £14 is my favourite. It is lovely. The straps are thin, adjustable and soft. The bra support is cup-like; comfortable and supportive. The vest itself is long which i really like. I've worn it with a bra under for extra oomph during the day. It is supportive enough to wear without a bra, even for my massive norks. I'm going to get one in white, I may go down a size though. I think it may loosen over time. The straps are quite long but are fine for me.

The other one is nice, comfortable for bed but not as supportive. The bra bit is double layer T shirt material. I definitely recommend buying a size smaller or trying on. my nipples were too visible for me to wear out of the house Biscuit Biscuit Blush. Nice for wearing as a pj top.

I have more from H&M on the way.

M&S ones for d+ had proper cups in them. The were a little short side for me. I didn't fancy the look of them.

Ooh, they've got a sale at debenhams as well, the £14 Jasper Conran one is now £11.20!

Can I ask if it's got a bra strap at the back like the Bravissimo ones or if it's more of an elasticated band?

Report
AaDB · 12/05/2013 22:45

It is an elasticated thing. The front is like fake boobs things but there is no danger of nipple. Well worth 11:20 .
I'm going to get more in a size smaller. I'm wearing the yellow one now. It is very comfortable.

I have just ordered some Tesco ones after reading this thread . They did them years ago and they were fab , by at the best and I had about 20. They are all dying now so in hoping the new style isn't too different .

bishbosh - I was really disappointed with the Tesco one I bought a couple of weeks ago. As you said, the old ones of a few years ago were great, but this one just wasn't nearly as supportive. I'm not really sure why though as it looks just like the old ones. Maybe I just got a dud and should go a try another on in the store to check.

SorrelForbes · 13/05/2013 15:25

Just seen some Bravissimo ones on ebay at a bargain price of £7.99
