There are a few days a year when I regret my life as a working mum and wish I was still in the school-run dress phase of my life. That dress would be great over a bikini top and cut offs.

I remember that summer. I worked every day in my poxy part-time job at Waitrose pre-uni and had to wear tights.

Oh I love the scoop neck one, but it doesn't come in the fabulous green . I'm a GAP obsessive, but as am old gimmer I normally find their dresses too short - I'll definitely give this one a try in store though - I do need school run dresses in the summer because I have a short turnaround between work and school pickup, and I hate doing the run in work clothes, especially if I'm going to take the DCs straight out to the park.

I am a pixie, but, yes I'll need to try it on to work out if I can get away with the length - no point in a school run dress if you have to wear leggings/opaque tights underneath it.

Length is fine if your legs are ok shape - remember they'll be lovely and tanned cos you'll have spent all day sunning yourself working hard in the garden.
