Where do you all yours from? I've tried karen millens and river island but the fit isn't quite right.

You need to try on LOTS of pairs. I had a great pair of Baxters from TopShop, and last summer bought a coated ankle-zip pair from Zara which are also fab.

Oh lord I'm going to have to go out shopping aren't I?

I have Primark ones. I love them, in fact they are my pulling jeans Grin

Dh is up for a shopping trip. He likes shopping and picks out things that he thinks would suit me.

I suppose if we went early it wouldn't be too bad. I could do Primark and Topshop then.

Boden code SIZE was giving 20% off plus free post and returns

Beware as lots of white skinnies now are thinner and therefore more see through.

What about Uniqlo? I don't have the white ones, but I have the light blue and the grey and love them - super comfy and flattering.

I second topshop baxters. Honestly way, way better than any of the expensive ones I've tried.

I have a "do" in the next few weeks and am going for skinnies and posh navy top. Ergo I have become a skinny expert and now have a fecking wardrobe full of the beggars.

Do NOT go for the Next ones which cost about £30. They are soooooo skinny my calves got the circulation stopped. They are also v v v thin and pants are visible underneath.

I have ordered the Boden ankle skimmer skinnies, after reading good reviews, but they aren't due to be delivered for 2 wks, so just in case I bought a pair of normal Boden skinnies from ebay.

I think the trick is to def go for white denim rather than white cotton.

Agree about the Next jeans - tried these on and you could see my knickers! Shame as the fit was good.

A friend told me that hers were from the Gap - great fit etc but they're not selling these again this year it seems.

Gillybobs, do the Boden skinnies come up big or small in their sizing?

Report
Gillybobs · 02/05/2013 12:52

Mine were from Oasis last year, the cherry range. I love the quality, which is the best ive seen to date, because they are not transparent or too thin. The best are probably straight leg, although these are called skinny, but they don't cling at all, and make my arse look a really decent shape.

Every other pair i have tried on made me look like an over-stuffed sausage, and I am quite slim. Definitely try them if they still do that range.
Silly, perhaps, but here is a pic of me wearing 'em!
