Where do you all yours from? I've tried karen millens and river island but the fit isn't quite right.

You need to try on LOTS of pairs. I had a great pair of Baxters from TopShop, and last summer bought a coated ankle-zip pair from Zara which are also fab.

I like zara

Ive just bought the Boden white skinnies as recommended by the 40bumlady blog and she was right, they are ace. She wears hers loads in her outfit pics

Fluffycloudland77 Thu 02-May-13 10:22:33

I suppose with boden it's free postage and returns at least.

Oh lord I'm going to have to go out shopping aren't I?

SPsYoniTheOneAndOnly Thu 02-May-13 10:23:35

I have Primark ones. I love them, in fact they are my pulling jeans grin

Fluffycloudland77 Thu 02-May-13 10:34:05

Dh is up for a shopping trip. He likes shopping and picks out things that he thinks would suit me.

I suppose if we went early it wouldn't be too bad. I could do Primark and Topshop then.

Gillybobs Thu 02-May-13 10:38:24

Boden code SIZE was giving 20% off plus free post and returns

MadAboutHotChoc Thu 02-May-13 10:38:28

Beware as lots of white skinnies now are thinner and therefore more see through.

What about Uniqlo? I don't have the white ones, but I have the light blue and the grey and love them - super comfy and flattering.

I second topshop baxters. Honestly way, way better than any of the expensive ones I've tried.

I have a "do" in the next few weeks and am going for skinnies and posh navy top. Ergo I have become a skinny expert and now have a fecking wardrobe full of the beggars.

Do NOT go for the Next ones which cost about £30. They are soooooo skinny my calves got the circulation stopped. They are also v v v thin and pants are visible underneath.

I have ordered the Boden ankle skimmer skinnies, after reading good reviews, but they aren't due to be delivered for 2 wks, so just in case I bought a pair of normal Boden skinnies from ebay.

<will be opening white skinny shop soon>

NotTreadingGrapes Thu 02-May-13 11:18:14

I think the trick is to def go for white denim rather than white cotton.

NotTreadingGrapes Thu 02-May-13 11:20:16

The uniqlo look nice.

Runs off to buy more. Baaaa.

Another vote for baxters.

MadAboutHotChoc Thu 02-May-13 11:30:14

Agree about the Next jeans - tried these on and you could see my knickers! Shame as the fit was good.

MadAboutHotChoc Thu 02-May-13 11:32:07

A friend told me that hers were from the Gap - great fit etc but they're not selling these again this year it seems.

kaumana Thu 02-May-13 12:30:16

Gillybobs, do the Boden skinnies come up big or small in their sizing?

Gillybobs Thu 02-May-13 12:52:38

kaumana Id say they were spot on size wise

I bought the baxters, and some Jamie's too in blue which dh picked out.

Mine were from Oasis last year, the cherry range. I love the quality, which is the best ive seen to date, because they are not transparent or too thin. The best are probably straight leg, although these are called skinny, but they don't cling at all, and make my arse look a really decent shape.

Every other pair i have tried on made me look like an over-stuffed sausage, and I am quite slim. Definitely try them if they still do that range.
Silly, perhaps, but here is a pic of me wearing 'em!

ToastedTeacakes Sun 05-May-13 20:40:27

Ladies! They still sell them!
Might be slightly different to last yrs, but pretty much same jeans

kay1975 Sun 05-May-13 20:49:53

Next Lift and Shape ones are good, cost £45 I think.

OOOh, where's your grey jumper from TT?

AndTwoBits Sun 05-May-13 21:48:05

You look amazing TT, I want to buy white jeans and a jumper now ffs!! Not that I'd pull off the look quite as well!
