What would you put with this dress for a wedding (still breastfeeding, so limited dress options)?

Just that really, still feeding my 7 month old so am planning to wear this dress to a wedding in a couple of weeks - www.oasis-stores.com/silk-oriental-dress/dresses/oasis/fcp-product/4470112158

I'm quite pleased I've found it as the front has a little popper so can be opened, and it's nice and short (I'm only 5'2" so anything too long looks frumpy, but this sits just above the knee). However, it's not exactly what I'd usually go for and I'm unsure what to put with it. I don't often accessorise as I'm just too lazy.

In the shop they had it with a little pale pink blazer but I'm not sure if that's me. I'll also have a massive leather bag with me in lieu of the changing bag, and don't want to wear too high heels in case I get tiddly on the bubbly and stack it with the baby in my arms!

I'm 28, size 10 with dark brown hair if that helps (and olivey skin tones, which looks kind of green next to pastels somehow).

So... help style me up!

Love the dress, don't think it needs much more Grin

It's lovey! Very pretty indeed.

What colour is your bag? WOuld you like a jacket type thing or would a shawl be more your thing?

Pretty!

I would get some coloured shoes, probably something wedgey for stability, in one of the shades in the dress - so pink or coral, and a pretty clip or flower for my hair in a similar shade and leave it at that. I think the dress doesn't need much and as it's patterned too many accessories will make it look too "busy", IYSWIM.

flats

I'd go with this sort of colour shoes, black bag, black hat (this?) and a light shawl in the cream/white/neural shade in the pattern. Or, black bag, plain black shawl and the same hat in the white or cream shade depending which works best with the dress.

Yay, thank you! Glad everyone likes the dress Grin.

I hadn't thought of coral/reddish shoes, ooh, see how unimaginative I am I was thinking just nude or black! I'll have a look and see what I can find in a narrow 3 (boo).

The bag is kind of tan/beige and black, bought mainly for the size and the fact it should blend into most outfits.

I think minimal accessories is a good shout, I think if it's cold I might need a shrug or jacket or something, hopefully it'll be warm enough that I won't need anything!

I'm a Geordie, I didn't even think about a jacket!

Was in New Look today and they had several kinds of coral-y coloured shoes, might be worth a look.
