Keepthechange that is an awesome plan! Did it take long to upload all your clothes?

Keepthechangeyoufilthyanimal Mon 29-Apr-13 14:44:39

Hopefully Not really, couple of hours tops in total, but I just add things as and when. You can 'like' items from the websites database and that saves them into your wardrobe, eg. search for denim jacket, it will bring up hundreds and you just click like on the items you want to add. Some of the items I have in my virtual wardrobe aren't the actual items I own, I've just liked the most similar thing in their database.
You can also install a browser bookmark thingy on your comp that means you can find your clothes online (or upload photos of your items) and just press the button in your browser to add it to your collection of items if that makes sense.
Though I do have a few tatty items in my wardrobe that I didn't include as I want to weed them out!
I just counted and I have 94 items in my virtual wardrobe! (some of them I don't own yet but I have added anyway) - I also find this works really well, adding things I want before buying as I can create outfits with items I already have to justify buying them to myself!
Eg. I have recently had my eye on some bright red jeans but wondering will I really wear them, will I be limited to what they will go with but managed to justify buying them because as it turns out I have a lot of tops and shoes that will go quite well!

there is also a really good iphone app for the website as well that is great for wasting time at home when you have nothing better to do! grin
