I always find the Clarks ballet flat very comfortable and they look cute.

NO TO MOANINGS shoes too

LadyMountbatten Sun 28-Apr-13 13:21:18

I cant stand Toms
Look like a Spandau Ballet casual circa 1984

I have the second pair in pink and a pair in black from a couple of years ago, they are very comfy I do have my eye on the colour you linked to, they are very cushioned and have worn really well, they didn't rub me either. I have problems with my feet and ankles and don't have much of a choice when choosing shoes.

I'm also considering a tan pair of loafer type shoes from fat face, quickly tried them on and they were very soft.

i had some like this last year for tramping around

LOVED till I wore in the rain

Fairylea Sun 28-Apr-13 13:26:25

I find them (toms) quite true to size, if a little on the wide side. I have quite wide size 6 feet and I find a 6 fine.

I wore dhs size 7 ones during pregnancy as my feet got very swollen and they were fab! smile (dh cant wear his anymore as I stretched them out of shape... aww shame).

LadyMountbatten Sun 28-Apr-13 13:26:45

ok if you like a footglove kind of vibe

what about these

LadyMountbatten Sun 28-Apr-13 13:27:52

ergh - you cant have the same size feet as your H - that is unnatural

noddyholder Sun 28-Apr-13 13:27:59

these? comfy but with a bit of metallic glitz so could wear with skinnies and shorts

dexter73 Sun 28-Apr-13 13:28:09

LadyM - those moccasins are v.granny chic!

LadyMountbatten Sun 28-Apr-13 13:28:36

over budget

Fairylea Sun 28-Apr-13 13:29:27

Ladym well it's normal for us (well he is a size bigger)! We actually have the same size wedding rings too.... !

Cantharellus Sun 28-Apr-13 13:31:05

Those next ones are nice. Very cute. I am in shock!

Please lady, you are under 30. please don't buy those clarks shoes. Either of them. I walk everywhere, but you don't need to look like a pensioner. My MUM has those shoes. She is 76!

LadyMountbatten Sun 28-Apr-13 13:32:21

meanwhile i found these
no good for you but i love

LadyMountbatten Sun 28-Apr-13 13:32:38

i bloody love moccassins
wore loads last year when it was so bloody cold

Yonihadtoask Sun 28-Apr-13 13:34:49

I like both. My Dsis bought the second pair last year - they have scuffed abit.

They are a very narrow fit too. I tried them on - but I have slightly wider feet.

I think the first pair would be more supportive underfoot for walking.

comfy hush puppies £19.99

I've just ordered these as my slip on school run shoes. I find hushpuppies very comfy and good quality but normally expensive.

LadyMountbatten Sun 28-Apr-13 13:36:03

number ONE is slightly more bearable in tan

BalloonSlayer Sun 28-Apr-13 13:37:37

OMG those Toms shoes are reeee-volting!

I'd rather wear my slippers.

OP I actually LOL-ed clicking your link. The picture hadn't come up so to pass the time I read the blurb "Women's shoes that re-work an iconic slip-on pump style for a contemporary crafted look. The season's vivid magenta leather is enhanced with a feminine laser cut design"

I thought WOW those sound great. Then a picture of a pair of granny shoes came up! grin

I mean - magenta is hot dark pink isn't it? Not Queen Mother Dusky Rose. And they claim it is "vivid" confused

noddyholder Sun 28-Apr-13 13:39:36

The ones in the opening post are not nice at all. What would they go with?

pickledginger Sun 28-Apr-13 13:40:24

My comfortable and well aired feet shall scoff at your scorn grin

cocolepew Sun 28-Apr-13 13:46:04

Are Toms not really flat?

Fairylea Sun 28-Apr-13 13:47:51

Toms have a padded insole so they feel bouncy inside.

valiumredhead Sun 28-Apr-13 13:48:37

I have the first link ones - they are probably the most uncomfortable shoes I own. I have been wearing them around the house for weeks now and they are still not soft or comfy!
