God. Not 2

LadyMountbatten Sun 28-Apr-13 12:34:37

You're 29 FFS.

Come on op. we want some style. Not menopause chic

SmileItsSunny Sun 28-Apr-13 12:35:56

I like the second pair, but then I don't frequent the style and beauty boards much! smile

NeedsTherapy Sun 28-Apr-13 12:37:07

The 1st are quite nice. The 2nd are not

Neither. How about a pair of Tom's ? So so comfy and cool for summer. And won't make you look 70. smile

MrsHoolie Sun 28-Apr-13 12:39:59

I like the first pair the best.

LadyMountbatten Sun 28-Apr-13 12:40:39

Why do you need "ballet " shoes?
I got some tassled loafers from stinky next. Their comfy saddo range. Are good.

MoaningMingeWhingesAgain Sun 28-Apr-13 12:59:27 ?

I have seen both of your links in the flesh and they are not tempting at all.

iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Sun 28-Apr-13 13:00:31

I like choice A the best but I don't mind choice B either. I have tried both and they are lovely and comfy.

I have very wide feet and Clarks are invariably the best place for me to buy shoes sad.

LadyIsabellaWrotham Sun 28-Apr-13 13:01:43

There are a couple of good Hush Puppies. Chaste Skimmer or Janessa are worth a look. I personally think that the Clarks Idyllics wouldn't look too bad on a younger woman like the OP - but the first ones are very ropy.

pickledginger Sun 28-Apr-13 13:04:07

Bad Fairylea. Your suggestion just cost me £40 grin. They're lovely.

Areyoumadorisitme Sun 28-Apr-13 13:06:27

What socks/tights do people wear with shoes like that? Pop socks?

I have no idea what to wear with stuff like that, or does it have to be bare feet, in which case how to stop rubbing and sweaty feet?

Fairylea Sun 28-Apr-13 13:14:56

Pickle smile

I love my Tom's so much... I always get a pair every summer. They are so comfy and more substantial than they look (copies of them are horrible). They're the only shoes I can wear bare foot!

And .... for every pair sold a child in a poor country gets a pair too. Win win smile

TheRealFellatio Sun 28-Apr-13 13:14:58

It's a tough call but pair two are marginally less awful than pair one.

I hope you are lying about being 29. shock

TheRealFellatio Sun 28-Apr-13 13:18:10

The pair that Moaning linked to are the best of a bad job, but really you need to have a word with yourself about all of them. grin

I am 47 FFS, and you'd have to drag me out of the house kicking a screaming in any of those.

TheRealFellatio Sun 28-Apr-13 13:18:35

bad lot, not bad job
