Spots - when will they end?

I am spotty. :(
I have had spots since I was 11. That makes 20+ years or spot prone skin. I've had times when my skin has been good - during pregnancy, while on the pill (which I don't want any more).

I am currently enjoying my first period after ridding my body of all traces of cerazette nightmare pill

Am I destined to be spotty for ever?

I haven't changed my skin care routine lately and it was working ok, till now. Hmm

I'm 34 and still getting spots, although I seem to have them under control with a combination of the Dermaflannel, Duac cream and the occasional course of Erythromycin antibiotics.

I'm hoping that the payoff for having greasy spot prone skin is that when I'm in my 40's I will still be mistaken for a teenager. Grin

Similar story here. I also seem to have got my skin more under control with Duac. I'd seen various GPs about it but Duac was never mentioned. It took a fantastic beautician I saw for a facial to suggest asking for a prescription. Worth trying if you haven't already?

Thanks! :)

I have a tendency towards dry patches and redness so I'm very wary of anything with benzoyl peroxide in it. I had some in my teens for spots and it dried out the spot but also almost burnt my skin. Oh and I got sunburnt while using it on a fairly cloudy day in Newcastle! Hmm

The derma flannel looks interesting but might be a but harsh after I checked out a MN thread about it.

I did the OCM last night (I do it occasionally) and my skin feels nicer so maybe I should do that more often. I tend not to cleanse that often as my skin gets dried out easily.
