This frock does nothing for me at all www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/gossip/gwyneth-paltrow-commando-dress-article-1.1327000

Well, if I was her, I'd be asking where the rest of my dress was.

Yuck.

Even her more intimate bits look fallible in that. Black sheer material never did anyone any favours - instant aging effect. She'd have been better off just showing her glowing skin.

I know. She can get away with anything. I don't know who suggested this was a good idea.

oh my word gwynnie - that's hideous

Ugh. Vile dress - looks even worse from the front.

Why??

OMG who thought that was a good idea...

I quite like it Blush. I like the futuristic thing.. I do have quite weird taste in clothes myself so maybe thats why.
I quite like that she doesn't seem to take her clothes that seriously or play it safe, she likes to play around and have fun with it.

Awful although that's a really nice shade of green on it...

I don't like the frock, but I do like Gwynnie

She is very intelligent, and very beautiful

I think it's the black net thing that I don't like. I can't imagine it being flattering on anybody, but maybe it looked better in RL.

Yes I like her too AF - she was very entertaining on Jonathan Ross last week.

It's too messy. She's got a fantastic figure (and she admits she works hard to keep it that way) but the dress actually takes over and you can't appreciate all the effort she puts in into keeping trim and toned.

She's looking very pretty. But few too many things going on with the dress.

piprabbit · 25/04/2013 23:19

If you are insetting a piece of sheer net, why would you put a seam up the middle?

MarshaBrady · 25/04/2013 23:21

I prefer the side view, to the front - it's the green band I like least.

How is she not exposing herself when she walks?
She just comes across as vain, self absorbed and in the middle of a mid life crisis. Her body is amazing though

Juniperdewdropofbrandy · 25/04/2013 23:28

Yikes no no and thrice no.

I do like her though. But even she can't get away with that dress.

cornydash · 25/04/2013 23:30

I don't know if she's any more body obsessed than any other major celebrity. She has to stay in shape for her roles I suppose and if I had her lifestyle and opportunities I'm sure I would spend more time exercising!
Apparently she exercises with Tracy Anderson to stay in shape - no wonder she has such a great figure.

you think - not even a g-string?

Report
LadyIsabellaWrotham · 25/04/2013 23:35

I think the dress is interesting as a piece, but when you actually wear it you might as well wear a badge saying LOOK AT ME I'VE GOT NO KECKS ON!
Which is a bit try-hard.

The seam up the side is just wrong! Surely it should be one piece of fabric.
