I really like the look of these and I'm sure they'd be comfy and I'd wear them lots to work. But £79!?

piratecat Thu 25-Apr-13 16:00:24

i'd say too much, there's more space than leather. hth smile!

Lottapianos Thu 25-Apr-13 16:02:00

Oh wow, they are fab! I'm a big Clarks fan smile That does sound quite pricey but Clarks shoes are dead comfy and last well. If you really love them, I would go for it

piratecat Thu 25-Apr-13 16:04:35

I like these ones

house of fraser

Allthingspretty Thu 25-Apr-13 16:09:10

Yes i would say so

I think they look lovely and in my experience (as someone who is very hard on shoes) Clarks last an age so these are worth the price tag.

And I love them. (if I were not over 6ft I would consider buying them myself but alas it is low-to-no heel all the way for me)

ouryve Thu 25-Apr-13 16:19:24

Way too much for the amount of wear they'd get (I'm ignoring the scary heels). I spend about that on a decent pair of boots and get a couple of winters out of them.

Catbiscuit Thu 25-Apr-13 16:23:11

They look lovely! In fact so nice, I am now thinking of buying them too :-)

Facebaffle Thu 25-Apr-13 16:23:32

Does seem a lot of money but I bet they're really comfy.

Clarks regularly have 20% codes hanging around. Might be worth scouting the 'net for one.

TheCraicDealer Thu 25-Apr-13 16:26:52

Gah, I've wanted these for like a year! They're like Swedish Hasbeens but cheaper and don't look like they'd cut the feet off you. I've ordered these for the summer. Love them!

Bunbaker Thu 25-Apr-13 16:27:35

Yes. Sorry, but I think they are hideous.

Bunbaker Thu 25-Apr-13 16:27:51

And they look really uncomfortable.

Lottapianos Thu 25-Apr-13 16:30:51

They are also fab CraicDealer smile

Let's hear it for comfy shoes!!!!

fromparistoberlin Thu 25-Apr-13 16:33:52

what craic said, very hasbeen like

I see what you nmean though, feels wrong to spend that much at clarks!

look if you like them get them OP!!!!

Bluebell99 Thu 25-Apr-13 16:39:30

Goodness me , I probably have no clue, but they look very frumpy to me..

IntheFrame Thu 25-Apr-13 16:44:11

piratecat - those are great.

had my bunions done 12 months ago - ready for a sandal now!

FunnysInLaJardin Thu 25-Apr-13 16:46:46

I always buy Clarks these days and also wait for the sale and then buy a few pairs. With a bit of luck those will be down to about £40 by the end of the summer. But then I am a cheap skate and don't pay full price for anything if I can help it!

TheCraicDealer Thu 25-Apr-13 16:49:42

Nooo, they're "rolling stock" iyswim as they're part of the originals range. Don't get reduced unless they're weird colours otherwise I'd have about ten pairs

GypsyFloss Thu 25-Apr-13 16:53:06

I tried these on but felt like I was channelling my Ma circa 1974 grin

freddiefrog Thu 25-Apr-13 16:56:13

I wouldn't pay £79 for them

I really don't like them for a start, but £79 for a pair of shoes I'd probably only wear about twice per year, is too too much for what they are IMO

Startail Thu 25-Apr-13 17:04:53

£79 is too much for any pair of shoes except long boots.

£45 is absolute top price I'd pay for sandals and those must be low wedge every day last 3 years type of sandles.

Thise are worth £22 max as they are too high to walk in and too clumpy to go out in.

fedupofnamechanging Thu 25-Apr-13 17:45:18

I'd say too expensive.

Clarks are getting a bit too pricey these days imo and quality does not reflect the price.

They remind me of the Scholls my mum used to wear in the 70's.

snoworneahva Thu 25-Apr-13 17:54:20

I love them, can't tell whether they are worth it or not till I had a closer look.

Gerrof Thu 25-Apr-13 17:55:58

I wouldn't pay that for a pair of sandals that look like my gran's scholl's.

I wouldn't pay that for Clarks shoes anyway.
