1. Is your skin dry, as well as fair? I have dry skin, and use the Bourjois 123 Foundation: www.superdrug.com/face/bourjois-123-perfect-foundation-vanilla/invt/522950/&bklist= but was told that by a make up artist who did my face for a wedding, that I should buy Chanel Vitalumiere foundation as its the best for fair dry skin.
   

1. I saw the Nars Orgasm blusher the other day and didn't like the colour, too orange. Instead, I have this, from & Other Stories, of all places: www.stories.com/Beauty/Make-up/Cheeks/Blusher/590649-546970.1 Very pretty pink colour, not clowny pink, and it seems to have a lot of pigment, so take it easy!

Wow bunnymother what lovely detailed answers and with links too...what a star!
I have ordered the Crest white strips from the linked Ebay seller.
I have quite oily skin and have been using the Maybelline BB cream but realise i need a bit more coverage, the Chanel looks amazing but at the very top of my budget. i was thinking of Clinique Even Better Foundation mainly because it says anti-ageing.
The blusher looks pretty and a really good price...i will give this one some research i have been known to have Aunt Sally cheeks from time to time.

Thanks , glad you found it helpful. I don't really know much about beauty stuff, as I just try things until something works and then stop looking. So, I'm not sure about foundation for oily skin - hopefully someone else will come along who has a good recommendation. Ha ha, I know what you mean re red cheeks! I have only used the blusher in the evening, but also have a MUA cream blush from Superdrug that seems so "light" in pigment, it might be worth looking at if you want something cheap to try?

Nars can't be worth it, it's just blusher. Sure all the other brands stock the same shade for much cheaper.

I love Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation, the shade 51 is perfect for a very fair skin.

1. Dunno! They dont work on me. I got a Groupon deal for £79 for a home whitening system and now have the mouth guard thingie and just buy home bleachng gel for about 20 quid twice a year. Much more effective.

I like Clinique moisture surge tinted moisturiser best (Approx £20) but the Lift and Luminate foundation from Boots (£16) is good if you want heavier coverage and VERY similar to Chanel Vitalumiere (£35 ish). Estée Lauder Doublewear Light is also a good, lightweight foundation that suits a lot of skin types (Roughly £27 I yhink)
   

1. I use the Nars Orgasm illuminatir - is that the same thing? I love it - gives a peachy sheen to cheeks - but I have friends who have been very underwhelmed. Deffo one to test in the shops before buying.

I only know about the NARS blusher, but I say yes it is worth the money. It's my favourite blusher ever. It lasts all day and it goes with everything. Plus, it's only £20 and it will last forever.

3. No, of course not. The collagen has to be INSIDE your skin to improve it. It's like expecting to improve your bone density by putting calcium rich milk on your arms and legs.
   
4. You can take a clip in pontail if you want, but a lot of people would consider this deeply naff. What's wrong with your actual hair?

Foundation - it's impossible to answer the foundation question without knowing if your skin is dry, oily, dehyrated, lined, etc etc or none of the above. What look are you after and when are you most likely to be wearing the said foundation? It's like asking 'what's the best pair of shoes for a woman?" It all depends on the situation.

1. I am very pale and my skin is slightly oily. i don't want to look like i'm wearing a mask but feel as if the BB cream is not enough at the moment.
   

3.i'm glad there are some doubters on here...I will go and have a test but will really begrudge paying that price for a blusher.

5.Nothing wrong with my hair just prone to frizz in hot climates..i'm not sure if they are naff or not. i have longish hair just didn't want to faff around with it.

If you're very pale, I recommend Bobbi Brown foundation. It's the only brand I can find where not only have they a colour to match me, but it isn't the lightest one they do.

1. Have you seen Smashbox BB cream? I'm 47, very pale, slightly oily skin and always sodding tired. Wore the BB cream the other day and loads of people commented how good I looked.

Empress I'm very pale and Rose Ecrin is better on me than any Nars. They do very few truly cool shades (Gaiety?) and I have gotten a few breakouts from Nars blusher (I have Deep Throat, it's okay but nothing special). I also prefer Revlon Colorstay in Ivory to ELDW.
