When you go through your winter wardrobe to put it into storage/charity shop....

Do you keep jumpers?
I bought some last A/W - mainly Primark/Sainsburys.

But they go a bit meh after washing and wearing.

I've got a cashmere that I haven't worn yet (hey- it was half price and camel shade. Classic)

Some cashmillion M&S that I'm still wearing.
And a chunky navy blue fisherman jumper that I love.

Do you save them?
Recycle them?

Will I want to wear them next winter?

I put them away if they are in decent condition and I absolutely love them. Other than that, if they are in rubbish condition they get recycled and if they are still decent but I don't like them I send them to the charity shop.

Similar to LifeofPo, I've seen me wearing my winter coat in June before, so it's hardly worth sorting through the winter clothes as they will soon enough be back out!

Anyway, I'd be more likely to sort them out at the beginning of the nexy Autumn/Winter as I'd have a fresh pair of eyes on them and know how likely it is I'd wear them again.

I don't put much away, but the obviously knackered/unwanted gets charity shopped (they can sell knackered stuff for rag weight) and anything with a question mark get put away and I assess how tired looking it is when I get it out again.

I only buy a few good quality jumpers every year - and keep them for as long as they look good (years). By the time I'm finished with them they wouldn't be any good in a charity shop.

I keep loads of stuff, although Primark and Sainsbury's things don't really last that well.

If they are in decent condition and you still like them then keep them. I always hang onto a few scruffy clothes for doing the cleaning and gardening in so that I don't wreck my new stuff!

I keep things until they're unwearable. I hate the trend for throwaway fashion.
