My mother used to do that - whole family would have matching outfits

No wonder she is now divorced

Err - no.

Do occasionally accidentally dress myself the same as DD - eg jeans and pink t-shirt.

We do this all the time, DH and I. It is one of our weekend rules, we must dress identically. We love Cotton Traders, very practical for this.

The older I get, the more noticably feminine my clothing is becoming. I even wear high-heeled sandals these days. Maybe this is some desperate attempt to fight the ravages of time... dunno. So, no dp not being a transvestite, we don't dress identically.

We did for a bit whilst 'courting'. It was a bonding thing (I think).

Now, definitely not. I think it's moreinevitable the older you get, the identity thing becomes quite blurred - quite cute in a way.

We've accidently worn similar things -eg blue jeans and black top and argue childishly about who should get changed ..."No, I got dressed first!"

We live in an area that attracts lots of walkers and you often see them in their His 'n Hers waterproof jackets, hiking boots and bobble hats - always pmsl

god no!

we did one time make a huge f up though..
we were at a frinds house in summer, wearing flipflops/sandals , i was in a dress, and we decided to go with them to the solstice gathering at stone henge..
we borrowed some warm clothes to change into when we got there.
then in the rain , freezing cold , at 11pm we got changed and realised we both had purple jumpers, jeans and tan coloured shoes..it was horrifying!
and we had no option but to wear them..argh!

did anyone see the episode of wife swap with the woman and her dd in matching barbie pink tops and furry boots? hilarious!
