Argan oil - What is the best brand to buy?

I almost ordered some from Amazon yesterday, but then the reviews mentioned all the other ingredients including dimethicone which is what I am really trying to avoid.

Does anyone have experience with Simply Argan? They talk the talk, but do they also walk the walk??

Basically all I want is 100% Argan Oil, nothing less, nothing more. I am getting all paranoid at expressions like '100% organic' when it then turns out to be full of all sorts of other things.
If you know of a brand that is not too smelly, that'd be great too...

I get mine from Naissance on Amazon, 100% organic one, can't remember how much, but cheap as chips compared to branded ones.

Heya
I ordered a small trial size of Argan Vie via Amazon at the weekend - it's organic too. I was a bit confused with all the choices and went with that as there was a small trial version.

I have Simply Argan and it is what it says it is. I received my full-size bottle in an Amarya Beauty Box though, so I didn't pay even close to RRP. That said, the bottle has lasted a year and still has some left, so I think it's good value and I might buy it again once mine runs out.

I just use a couple of drops added to moisturiser and occasionally run some through the ends of my hair.

Thank you, all.

JazzDalek, is your particularly smelly? I am just asking because Simply Argan also offer a 'deodorised' version Confused.

JennySense, I looked at Argan Vie. Free delivery with Prime too... hmm. I am tempted.

NotTreadingGrapes, there seem to be some unhappy Naissance customers which made me wonder whether it is just too good to be true.

Does it have to be organic? I got some from holland and Barrett (half price at the time) by MiaFlora, just checked and it's 100% argan oil, but not listed as organic.
I use it on my skin at night and have noticed a difference, but is too heavy for my hair.

Oh thanks, I am not too bothered about it being organic tbh.

Sorry to reply to an old message but I've been doing loads of searching on Argan Oil to fix my skin problems. My friend recommended I buy the following product so I will let you know how I get on with it :)

I looked at the ingredients and it's identical to some of the others recommended in this message so it seems silly to pay more for the same thing!

Lurking as I'd like to find argan oil that has zero 'cones' in.

Finding shampoos and conditioners is easier, I'm finding, than heat protection and oils

I love(d) the Argan oil I bought, have carried on using it since ditching silicone based shampoos only to find it has a 'cone' in it grrr!

I used to be a rep for Simply Argan oil and swore by it, it was meant to be the best on the market and even comes with an authenticity certificate (there are so many other similar products on the market which aren't 'pure' Argan oil and contain all manner of other ingredients), I then stopped using it for a while until a few weeks ago. However, since I have started using it again, as a moisturiser for my body, cleanser, toner, face and eye cream, face mask, body scrub - all separate items but from the same company, obviously containing Argan oil, I have found I keep itching and itching and itching, I don't have a rash, outbreak or anything like that but it is the constant itching that is driving me mad. To the point where I have had to get some Hydro-cortisone cream in an attempt to relieve this. I have questioned all manner of things over the past few weeks, could it be medication, bathing/shower products, washing powder but I honestly now do believe that it is the Argan oil products that I have been applying to my body. Not sure why it seemed to suit me previously but is now giving me so much discomfort with the constant itching? Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what what was your cure for this, obviously than discontinuing use? Thanks.
