Sounds very Dita Von Teese (in demure, day-time mode), Ashoething - lovely!
Dark blue, very straight-legged jeans; Short sleeve black/red tartan blouse, with top 5 buttons burst open undone, and black vest top underneath; Black patent Dr Marten 8 holers; Lovely 3 colour "black" pearls with bronzey/greeny/purpley lustre, and lots of mismatched jewellery; Minimal makeup, including very cool aubergine eyeliner with pinky-purply-reddish shimmery stuff in it.
It looks quite nice, although I can't explain how...
OneLittleLady - random question, but just in case you see this: how do the velvet Dr Martens stand up against rain/stains/scuffs? Also, how robust do you think they are compared to the normal stiff leather versions? I'd love a pair, but I'm scared I'd ruin them.
tobacco coloured skinny jeans with faint snake-skin pattern - French connection Cream pin-tucked smock style blouse - monsoon oatmeal cashmere cardigan (again!) Nom I've found they stand up quite well to normal wear and tear. I wouldn't wear them out in torrential rain but for a light to moderate shower they have been fine. I use a baby brush to remove any mud or slight scuff marks and they look good as new. I don't think they'd stand up to snow though! In terms of fit, they are far more comfortable than the standard leather which I have found to be terribly hard on the feet. The last leather pair I bought, I had to return because they were so tight they actually cut the top of my foot after less than an hours wear inside the house. If only you were a size four, I could have given you a pair of green 14 eye leather Dr Marten boots but alas, no one seems to have feet as small as I I can't wear them and cant return them so they are just gathering dust
