First post on this board but I've picked up some fab tips from you lovely mumsnetters smile
I need a parka/jacket for trips to park, running around etc so nothing too expensive. Preferably something that can withstand a shower of rain too, plus hood.
I've missed out on a lovely one at & Other Stories as my size is gone (only just discovered this site) Parka Hope link works.
Any suggestions for alternatives?

Saw this yesterday, thought it looked quite nice

This one has the drawstring waist, if that is what you liked about the blue one

DD got a lovely one in Topshop last year - might be worth a look?

Thanks
SirTD - I like first but I'm only 5"2 so worried ill be swamped by cocoon shape. I liked the linked one in part for the drawstring & part the fabric, how much would a cotton one fade with washing?
Remus - thanks ill take a look at topshop now

I see what you mean re: washing

Gap neon, has the same crinkly effect as the "other stories" one, I think

I have this in black, and it washes very well (mine is currently dripping over the bath). It is Lands End, however, and isn't exactly cutting edge. grin
