Whilst a lot of stuff they sell is gaudy not to my taste, they do seem to have some hidden gems, particularly dresses. They are generally longer than other shops which is great for me as I am quite tall.

They have some lovely shoes aswell Smile

Am I the only one?

I have tons of their stuff. I have to confess to buying SIX versions of the same dress. All the same style, just different materials. In my defence, the style really works on me. I love the denim jackets I have from them as well.

I like their dresses - they seem to fit really well and are flattering. Bit pricey though.

Yes I love their stuff apart from the crinkly stuff which doesn't re crinkle after washing so ends up just looking massive and shapeless.

I have a long red coat from them, which I've had so many positive comments on.

However, it loses buttons like they're going out of fashion. You can catch them as they work loose, so I've never lost any buttons but, no exaggeration, I must have sewn buttons back on 15 or 15 times. Sad Shame, because it's otherwise a gorgeous coat.

I like them too. Have a fab wool tunic that gets compliments whenever I wear it, and a few other bits and bobs:)

Hit and miss for me, had a few things I have loved and a few that have had to go back. I wish they didn't have quite so many asymmetric hemlines. I bought some boots from them that I absolutely love and have worn hundreds of times, they have worn really well.

Re. th crinkle thing, aren't you supposed to twist the item tightly when wet to restore the crinkles? I've got a long crinkly skirt which has gradually dropped all it's crinkles, but I actually like it better that way.

Also love that they give the exact length of dresses in cm.

I did buy a pair of jeans from there but the quality was very poor considering the price which was disappointing.

I have got a gorgeous pair of ballet pumps from there which look great and arevery comfortable.

I agree it is quite pricy and the quality doesn't always match the price Hmm

PeterParkerSays - You should try painting the thread with clear nail varnish when you've sewn a button back on, or dab a bit on those which have yet to fall off. Works wonders on preserving buttons.

Back on topic; I like the look of a lot of the Joe Brown stuff, but have yet to be convinced to part with my money...
