Footwear help please!

Okay, I desperately need help as I have real difficulties with this sort of thing.

I have bought this dress:

www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Kaliko+Heather+watercolour+dress/178713262,default,pd.html

And I need footwear to go with it.

I am awful on heels. I haven't worn heels for ages, I wobble and the idea of them brings me out in a cold sweat. I've been eyeing up Irregular Choice shoes, and I like the fact that some of their heels have more chunky bases (if that makes sense)

Would the heels of these: www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Irregular+Choice+Fantastic+low+heel+court+shoes/182876234,default,pd.html be too low with the dress?

Would these: www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Irregular+Choice+Summer+freckles+high+heel+court+shoes/182875898,default,pd.html be better? But then I'm running the risk of my ankles snapping in protest as soon as they come out of the box.

Help?

And if both of them are crap options to go with that dress can someone tell me? Grin

I really like the Irregular Choice style.

I'm with clatty on this. Fab dress, fab shoes but put it altogether and it might feel a little too much, I suspect.

Have you seen any plainer shoes OP? I agree with you that a chunkier heel is significantly easier to wear.

How about these?

Use voucher code BLOOM before Tuesday for 20% off as well (I ordered the nude pair the other day)

Thank you! I was worried they might be too much.

Going - I like the colour, but I think I'm going to need a wider heel.

Would these work, as they pick up some of the colours in the dress, but without being too OTT? www.irregularchoice.com/shop/search/product/3778/can--t-touch-this.html?offset=3

Oooh, or these? Less likely to break my leg.

I also love these:

but wasn't sure if they went with the dress.

See why I need help?!

shanks the last pair linked are the best imho. They dont compete with your dress and the pink detail is pretty. You could have a pink bag or a black bag to go, some pretty accessories - but dont go for any more floral or patterns.

Thanks Jax

clatty - I can't change the dress :( Changed it too many times now(!) and DH might well reach the limits of his patience!

They're pretty. Would low heels work with an above knee dress? I have crap legs.

any heel will give you a more shapely leg, but it depends what you are comfortable wearing.

very welcome, you need to be comfortable if you are wearing them for a while and although high High heels are lovely on, they hurt after a while, even v expensive ones.

Have you looked at javari?

You can search by heel height and colour.

How about these?

or these hush puppies?

or these?

Love a shoe hunt.

I'm not good with heels (despite loving them, I just can't walk in them very well) and my irregular choice shoes are by far the most comfortable heels I own!! I love the fairies in a jar pair you linked to, they definitely get my vote :)
