I'm forty-something, size 14

I have ordered this dress and the petticoat for a posh do this summer.

Please oh lovely ladies of S&B what do you think?

OneLittleLady Mon 08-Apr-13 20:14:30

I like the style, just not the pattern. The style really is lovely though. I think it will look great smile

Thank you grin there's loads more but I liked a skull patterned one the best but am a bit old for that and my son would be mortified

I love it. What a great site. Have you bought from them before? Can you let us know how accurate the sizing is when it arrives please?

Freddiemisagreatshag Mon 08-Apr-13 20:38:28

I will. Haven't bought from them before.

Am also looking at this one

Honestly? I think they look a bit fancy dress. Sorry but I do. I don't dislike it, but for a posh event I think you will stand out a lot (which you might be fine with, so in that case it's fine!).

I don't want to be pastel mother. I am a bit rocker hippy in my normal style.

Maybe I should get one of the pastel dresses off there? Tone it down a bit?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie Mon 08-Apr-13 20:46:18

NO - go with the ones you like. I think the first one minus the petticoat would look perfectly 'normal' (whatever the heck that means) but the petticoat makes it a bit more out there. Ignore me.

grin it's a graduation if that makes a difference, not a wedding or anything

claudedebussy Mon 08-Apr-13 20:47:33

go with the skull one and dress it up with high heels etc.

cocolepew Mon 08-Apr-13 20:48:12

I hate it jealous

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie Mon 08-Apr-13 20:49:25

Oh gosh yes, for a graduation wear what the heck you want.

DewDr0p Mon 08-Apr-13 23:40:36
