Hotter shoes??

I know I should be ashamed to be even looking, but I need comfy summer shoes. Something to go with casual summer dresses.

Please bear in mind that I have no desire to be fashionable or even particularly stylish, just to look OK smile (and be comfortable) blush

They're awful. I like comfortable shoes too. But.... there are limits. Keep looking.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie Fri 05-Apr-13 20:08:57

Oh dear. No - just no.

Try Gabor - some of them are fairly inoffensive.

SofaCanary Fri 05-Apr-13 20:09:55

Christ no!

For Hotter ( who keep blooming sending me catalogues WTF) that's ok. Only the teal. And I think they would wear out/ go like boats very quickly, which for the price....

Hush Puppies Janessa

MissBeehivingUnderTheMistletoe Fri 05-Apr-13 20:14:02

Allthingspretty Fri 05-Apr-13 20:24:35

No no no.

Flat amd less than thirty quid

Cheaper and they look comfy comfy and cheap

These too

In essence there are plenty of alternatives that arw far more stylish

OneLittleLady Fri 05-Apr-13 20:27:09

Oh no. no. They are awful, sorry

Gales Fri 05-Apr-13 20:29:15

Ok, I get it grin

Althings, flat doesn't automatically mean comfortable though - there's no way those synthetic thin soled shoes are comfortable.

OneLittleLady Fri 05-Apr-13 20:32:30

Have you tried gel insoles? Primark sell them specifically for flat shoes, they could be worth a look?

ItsAllTLAsToMe Fri 05-Apr-13 20:33:31

The pumps that Oliver linked to are ridiculously comfy, I have them in black. Leather as well.

Gales Fri 05-Apr-13 20:37:19

Yes, I like those ItsAll

ItsAllTLAsToMe Fri 05-Apr-13 20:42:39

They really are great, they don't feel anything like normal pumps. They're not the most fashionable pumps, but they're 10x as comfortable, and will last 10x as long.

Jesus, great if you're going for Henry VIII's jester's job. Not so great in 2013.

travel they are awful. And I am the only person not to say the first ones were a disaster.

Bunbaker Fri 05-Apr-13 20:53:23

I really like those * TravelinColour*. I wouldn't have guessed they were Hotter.

Bunbaker Fri 05-Apr-13 20:53:55

The first ones

MrsDoomsPatterson Fri 05-Apr-13 20:56:00

Step away from Hotter. They couldn't be any colder.

My horrendous bunions, which are only getting worse, leave me very few shoe options. I am now down to ecco, m and s footglove wide fitting and hotter. And so the choice tends towards the granny. Much as i would love to wear more stylish shoes, i just can't. If you're not forced towards these type of shoes, OP, don't buy them! I would go for the ones you've linked to in your OP, but if you dont have problem feet, then shop around. I completely agree with you about the very flat hush puppies though, shoes as flat as that would be agony for me.

piprabbit Fri 05-Apr-13 22:27:49

Have a look at Shoon, they do a lot of comfy ranges. Some look better than others.

tigerdriverII Fri 05-Apr-13 23:21:26

happy. I have a bunion too. I don't like to admit it but probably it will have to be treated. <<aaaaarrrggghhh>>
