Should I cut my hair? (Hair loss)

After having thick glossy hair when pregnant, it started falling out after DS (4mths) was born. There's still a fair bit and it's growing back (but with tufty bits around my forehead. Should I?

a) Keep it long and hopefully have a fringe by summer.

b) Go for a big change and have a short cut that works with the tufts a bit more.

I really don't want to have it cut but not do I want to have fluffy hair that matches DSs!
