Aigle aiglentine wellies - sizing?

Hi, have decided to invest in a good pair of wellies as my old cheap ones are splitting at the top and not very comfortable for doggie walks. Can anyone familiar with this brand advise what size to get please! I'm a size 6/39 in shoes. Should I go a size up or get my usual shoe size? Thanks!

I am a 6 and tried a pair on the other day as I am lusting after them for dog walking too. I cannot give you a definitive anwser other than to say that a 7 was definitely too big, even with 2 pairs of socks.

They didn't have a 6. Just as well as it ensured I left with the Dunlop wellies I can afford!

Thanks. I just checked and although they don't come in all half sizing, they do come in a 6.5/40. I found the Aigle aiglentine for £66, so not cheap but some of the wellies go up to over £300!! I feel I can justify it as I'll be wearing them for a couple of hours at least each day.

Silly question, but should good wellies fit fairly nicely or will they end up rubbing? My current cheap wellies are a size bigger than my shoe size and they are a bit baggy.

I've got Aigles ( not sure which type but very old) and they are a 6 and my normal size is 6 . I normally go up a size for wellies but I 'stole' these from my sister and that's the size they are . They are brilliant , I wear them for at least 2 hours a day and they are really comfortable . After several pairs of cheap wellies I would definitely pay for another pair of Aigles when these wear out.

Thanks Wafer and Flora. I think I'll just order the 6 and fingers crossed they'll fit perfectly. Have read good reviews about the Aigles and you both say they're really comfortable so I'm going to go for it!! Can't believe I'm so excited about a pair of wellies!! x
