Catalogue just came through the door. Not looked at one in about 10 years.

After a quick look I'm considering getting some stuff but wondering on Avon quality?

Anyone get anything good lately?

Kids shampoo and conditioner are great. My son loves it.

Love their Supershock Eyeliner and Supershock MascaraI have tried many different eyeliners and so far Avon is the best one.

My 5yrs old has been using Avon naturals Kids body wash (tear free)for the last year and its been a big hit. It's so fruity and gentle on skin

Try Avon simply delicate - intimate wash. It's simply gentle and affordable.

I think I'm going to try -
The pillow mist
Eyeshadow primer
Moroccan Argan oil
Strawberry Sorbet Bubble Bath
Kids Watermelon shampoo and conditioner (for ds)

I'm considering some nail varnish and mascara...

Just to add the Glimmerstick eyeliners are excellent.

Don't like the nail varnish or lipsticks.

can I hijack a little... what about the cloth sizes? the leggings sound fab, but I am a suze 12-14 and the choices are only 10-12 and 14-16. Any idea which one should I go for? thanks!

I'm slowly moving over to avon make up and so far been impressed by everything I have found. Just ordered some nail varnish for the first time from them so pleased that the reviews are generally positive.

Glimmerstick eyeliner and Supershock mascara are both brilliant. Also like the tinted lip care.
I have loads of their nail varnish because I like the colours but do find it chips quickly despite the claims in the brochure about it lasting for 10 days

Must say my mum has started doing Avon so have ordered some stuff and their make up has really surprised me! Their mascara has lasted all day even in this bitter cold when my eyes are streaming with tears by the time I get to work!

Have ordered kids bubble bath and shampoo and they both smell lovely smile

Really surprised and will be ordering more!

Glen which shampoo and conditioner do you use? I just tend to get the ones on offer blush

glenthebattleostrich Mon 25-Mar-13 21:09:09

Not sure, just know the shampoo and conditioner leave my hair lovely and I use the mask once every 2 weeks and the oil when I blow dry and it leaves my masively over treated stupidly long hair lovely smile

KoalaFace Mon 25-Mar-13 21:04:39

Thank you all so much!

Now I know what is decent I can stock up a bit.

Having a lean few months so happy to find avon is so reasonable with good reviews!

The gel eyeliner pencils are fab. I like the glimmer stick ones too.
I always use the mineral foundation.
I like their sun creams too, just incase it ever stops snowing!

onedev Mon 25-Mar-13 20:37:39

It's the Supershock Max mascara I like. I haven't noticed the nail polish chipping smile

TomArchersSausage Mon 25-Mar-13 20:33:49

I also buy the linen sprays. Lovely to spray on your pillow.

TomArchersSausage Mon 25-Mar-13 20:32:20

I really like the Pro+ Nail polish. It has gel in it and lasts very well.

Also good is the Magix face perfector. .

normaleggy Mon 25-Mar-13 20:31:23

Their super shock mascara saw me through horrendous hayfever and a nasty spilt with my husband without smudging or running once!

TallulahBetty Mon 25-Mar-13 20:28:48

Glimmersticks eyeliners are fab. Last all day and are twisty-uppy which for me is brilliant (no sharpening!)

KoalaFace Mon 25-Mar-13 20:27:54

glen I think mine will become quite fond of me now that I have these recommendations!

Is the hair oil similar to moroccan oil brand?

meditrina Mon 25-Mar-13 20:21:39

The Speed Dry nail varnishes really do dry quickly, and I've never had a bottle (of any type) that chips quickly.

glenthebattleostrich Mon 25-Mar-13 20:20:58

DD adores the bubble bath. She has pretty sensitive skin and it is one of the few we can use. It smells gorgeous too.

I love the morocan argan oil stuff for hair too. My hair is lovely and swishy.

Oh and the hair dyes, if you colour your hair at home.

My avon lady loves me!!

number41 Mon 25-Mar-13 20:15:29

The mascaras are good, even the cheap ones. I like the mineral foundation too.
I dont agree with nail polishes, they chip away the next day!
When I wear iluminating face pearls I get compliments on how good my skin looks.
Most lipsticks are ok but some taste horrible.

KoalaFace Mon 25-Mar-13 20:10:29

Good stuff! I think DS will like the strawberry bubble bath.

I'll give some nail varnish a try too.

derek is the magic primer any good for days when you don't want foundation? Thats what I mainly use primer for.

meditrina Mon 25-Mar-13 20:08:24

The big bottles of bubble bath are lovely (and very cheap).

The nail varnishes are very good indeed.

The detangling spray has saved much yowling.

KoalaFace Mon 25-Mar-13 20:08:24

I'll be getting that spray! Thanks smile

I was tempted by a mascara but I do get fussy, what is a particularly good one onedev ?

derektheladyhamster Mon 25-Mar-13 20:07:36

I like the magix primer
