nice, I was between these and the long black ones with roses down the side (might get them next winter). I was reminising about going down the market to buy my first pair and you could have black or cherry.

I have had a pair of them on the go ever since I turned 15. My favourite pair ever were the ones I had with purple roses printed on them. Sadly they died a premature death because my sister left them out in the rain and a mouse took up residence in them

oh dear thats not good. I had them at 15 until about 19 then I moved onto para boots, had a high heeld pair a few years ago which are still going strong, black and white brogue style which I love. I bought a pair of black patent when dd1 was a baby but they rubbed me so much I couldnt wear them and it put me right off. My neice has them now, but I am wearing these until they are comfy becasue I remember the rewards once they are broken in, also they are so pretty.

Have you also found that the fit of them has changed? I bought a pair in my normal size and had to return them and size up as the fit of them was so so narrow it cut the top of my foot.

I think that wa the problem with the back shiny ones, these are a saiz bigger and so far very comfortable.

They are great - i have been considering some cherry red ones. But i have a larger second toe so anything round toed hurts when i walk. Does anyone have the same and are they still comfy?

My second toe is freakishly long, so much so that sometimes I trip over it, hth. I took the dogs out in them this morning which was very brave, they were so comfy and will never again be parted from my feet.
