I seem to have forgotten how to shave my legs...

I really have no idea what is going on with my legs! Sad
I can't seem to get rid of the horrible shaving rash and ingrown hairs (ewwww) the problem only started a few months ago but I haven't changed my routine in anyway.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to treat it? I'm going out with the girls tonight for my birthday and I know I am going to feel terrible about my legs all night Hmm
I've tried everything I can think of. I've changed razor brands, shaving gels, conditioner, exfoliating and moisturisers.
Please don't tell me I'm the only one with manky legs!

Leave them to grow for as long as possible, exfoliate and put loads of cream on every time after you have a shower/bath. Then when you're ready to shave them (after a good few days/a week) they should be back to normal.

Maybe the razors you buy have changed slightly?

I always found men's razors better Mach 3 & use a shaving oil. Only use the blade a few times & then change to a new one. Shace just one wau upwards from ankle to knee. Have you tried waxing? It does last longer but the first wax on shaved hair is more painful as the hair is thicker. I would try the cream first but I always found it gave me a rash. I'm a beauty therapist so I wax my legs myself. I can get ingrown hairs so I use a loofah mitt & scrub once a week which helps.
There is something called Tend skin that helps with shaving rash & ingrown hairs.

Use hair conditioner instead of shaving foam/soap.
Ingrown hairs are worse in winter because you're more likely to wear tights/leggings.
