Help me wise bra owls

So, I've been reading the various threads about bras and sizing. I've just done my own measurements and was wondering if someone a little wiser than me could give me a starting point for bras that fit. I am currently wearing a 36a as I was measured for by a lady in Debenhams but I am convinced that it's wrong. I measured myself as 36 1/2 under the bust and 42 at the fullest part. Help me wise bra owls!

I'd say 36 E would be a better starting point!

I would agree, start with a 36E but also try at least a DD and an F. The cup is harder to determine by measuring.

An A cup indeed..no wonder it's not working for you
