Touché éclat doesn't cut the mustard anymore ......

My under eye shadows are determined to be noticed even with a layer of touché éclat followed by foundation on top.

Anyone know of a good concealer for the under eye area?

Currently using EL doublewear concealer. Staying power like I've never seen before! Doesn't budge.

I borrowed a friend's Garnier roll on concealor, and I loved it. Didn't settle into the lines like other concealers!

Another vote for By Terry.

And another vote for By Terry. Love all her stuff but eye concealer outstanding . She actually used to work for YSL but her own product is much better.

Boing by Benefit is best under-eye concealer I have ever used.

I use erase paste too. marvellous stuff!

Erase paste here too. I had a benefit counter person do a comparison between that and Boing for me when I was deciding what to buy and erase paste was far more effective for me. I used to use Christian Dior Skinflash which is like touche eclat but with concealer. That's quite good but not if, like me post-DS , you have proper under eye darkness.

This is my favourite at the moment. I'm sure I read about it on here.

Touche éclat is a highlighter so with dark circles you need something else on top otherwise you're just highlighting them.

I now use a BB corrector first then BB concealer for nights out and stuff. The corrector does the same thing as the touché éclat.

If you want a cheaper version of touché eclait or correcter first I use Aldi's version of the touché eclait most days.

I think the other trick is you need to apply it beyond the undereye area too so it blends in with the rest of your face rather than there being a distinct difference. I bought the above products after seeing a video online where they drew a triangle from the outer eye to the nose to do this but I can't find it. Plenty of other videos on youtube though.

Good luck.

Had a look on By Terry website but probably a bit too pricey for me at the mo, trying to cut back!

How much would the Benefit concealer be?

Thanks for suggestions Smile

Benefit is £19.50 I think which is still on the pricey side - its lasts me a good 6 months though and I don't use it sparingly!

The By Terry one is ridiculously expensive, but it really does last for ages. I got mine early summer last year and still going.

The Terry one does last forever. I think I've had mine for two years and use it every day.

I use a MAC one in a little squeezy tube (can't remember it's name), really good shades which match to skin tone, also, Christian Dior do one which is even better, that also comes in a small blue squeezy tube and you have to go to the counter and ask them for it as they never seem to keep it on display. It lasts forever. I know these things as always look like I've been punched in the face my bags are so blue.

Agree that By Terry lasts for ages. Had mine for well over a year, maybe two before it ran out. Lasts far, far longer than Touche Eclat. I was seriously impressed.

I use a really cheap one from Maybelline called dream lumi touch. Does the trick.

I like Lancome long-lasting softening concealer. It's around £14 and a tube lasts ages!
