One of these arrived today from the Outnet - thanks to those on the ah sale thread for the tip off! I do love it - so soft - but need to know I'll get my money's worth as is still not el cheapo. I know a few mnetters have one - when do you use yours and are you pleased with it? Thanks all.

I have 2 of them
My mum bought me another one in dec

I use them during the day and in the evening.

Normally with the strap on

Which colour did you buy?

I dont tend to carry too much in a handbag so find it quite versatile

A lot else. Do you wear it cross body? Might be a bit old lady worn over one shoulder as the strap is quite long.

Normally on shoulder

Not cool enough for crossbody

I am 5 ft 3

My kids are 10 and 11 so I don't carry many things for them

I bought cobalt blue last summer and my mum bought me the brick red one in dec

The leather is amazing

I got the coral, thought it'd be nice for the summer. I really like it, lovely quality, just worried about the size.

I agree dumbo it's so soft it's not true! How have yours worn pls - my mulberry in oak has scratched a lot and whilst that sort of suits that bag I can't imagine Gracie would suit the battered aura! Also what is the leather like in the rain? Thks!

I have to admit I don't take it in the rain. I have other Anya bags which have been fine

When I don't carry it I keep it in the dust cover

It is definitely a classic looking bag

Others may differ in opinion

I wear a lot of tea dresses so it tends to go well with that sort of look

I have one, a bright green one. I use it regularly, mostly worn crossbody, but I am young and hip so I can get away with that you see Wink. It's a really good little bag, and I find it particularly useful on holiday as I can whip the strap off and use it as a clutch.

I have the blue one and double loop the strap so it sits neatly under my shoulder. I used it loads last summer day and evening.

All good so far Grin. Amber have you got yours caught in the rain yet? Do you think the leather scuffs? I do like the versatility and that it looks younger cross body. Have been playing with the strap and can loop it under the flap iykwim to make it tuck up under my arm which I like. Spose it's small enough to fit under a jacket in the rain to protect it a bit.

Ooh x posts mrscampbellblack - that's what I have tried this eve and its neater which I like. Just worried about scuffs now otherwise all the boxes are ticked!

It has been both rained on and vomited on, not by me I hasten to add, and looks good as new.

I just found out that I got a new job (an internal promotion I was interviewed for yesterday! totally bewildered) and really want to get a mini-gracie to celebrate.
On the outnet the green doesn't look too bright and I really love bright green: is it brighter in real life?
But I am also thinking of the neutral pale tan one as that perhaps goes with more things.
I don't know what clothes the bright green one would go with. If you have the bright green one what do you wear it with?

AmberNectarine · 24/01/2013 21:28

It is a proper grass green, I would say. A lovely rich colour. And such an unexpected colour for a bag too. I like to wear it with bright pink.

I also think it looks awesome with monochrome. It's surprisingly versatile. I do like a bit of a colour clash though!

Thanks amber useful intel although vomming on a bag is probably over and above my usual level of research Grin

Sad to say most of my bags have been puked on due to reflux baby. Nylon Marc Jacobs definitely the winner in that particular test of endurance. What colour did you get OP?

scripsi · 24/01/2013 22:59

think I am sold on the green then - if it goes with monochrome and I can imagine it going with denim shirts etc. also.

justasecond · 24/01/2013 23:17

I love the green one. It is the colour I would go for if I could afford it Sad I think a small bag like that should make a statement.
