i like estee lauder pleasures. dont mind Beautiful - also like DKNY be delicious night. armani mania is apparently now discontinued so i asked DS to get me some mini samples for xmas....
i got armani code, diamonds, code day and aqua de gio or whatever its called....

nothing lasts more than a few hours. i would love a perfume that lasts without having to keep re applying it - does such a fragrance exist? the only perfume ive ever smelt that i couldnt abide was Angel....that bastard lasted alright....had to scrub it off!

does anything exist that i might actually like that stays put?

Well Agent Provoc stays put. And I've recently bought a Jo Malone (something with ginger and lily in the title) and that's doing ok. I have a friend who always smells beautifully of her perfume and I've seen her put it on and she literally bathes in it. There's no discreet squirt - she douses herself. Her hair, clothes and skin and mists it then walks through it.

Make sure it is eau de perfum and layer with other products in same range eg shower stuff, body cream etc. and it will last.

Are you sure it's not just that your nose is getting used to it so you can't smell it, but others can...?

An eau de parfum rather than an eau de toilette, or a pure parfum extract if you can afford it, will last much longer.

The stronger perfumes last longer than light floral ones, although I've personally found Estee Lauder Pleasures to be quite long-lasting. The Chanel eau de parfums last very well - they are more expensive than the eau de toilettes but it's noticeable how much longer they last on.

Jo Malone. Always lasts well. Have many of their different perfumes and they always get commented on.

Also Jo Malone. I have several and they all last well particularly if layered with body lotion, etc.
