I loved the bright leather satchels from last year (maybe even year before) in red or yellow, but couldn't afford one. Never mind, I thought, I'm sure there'll be a nice colour next time.

Nope. Colourblocks (which I like in principle, but not these combos) and updated shape which isn't as nice.

Waaaah. Can't even find one on eBay.

If any of you S&B ladies know of someone/SH shop selling one/preparing to eBay I would be v grateful for any pointers or PMs...

Keep looking on Ebay - I find most things come up eventually if you're patient!
Otherwise maybe try Cambridge Satchels
