Im currently undergoing invisalign treatment to straighten my teeth and I'd love to whiten them while im at it!

I have made to measure trays which are being used to straighten my teeth so I dont need those made up, does anyone know any dentist recommended brands I could buy online?

I do have quite sensitive teeth too.

TIA

I've used Crest whitening strips, they are good but make your teeth very sensitive.

I've also used Dr George Dental White - you can buy it from Amazon.co.uk, but again it makes your teeth sensitive.

I got about 6 shades whiter using both products (Dr George about 3 years ago, Crest strips very recently), but my teeth are quite light coloured anyway. Apparently the Crest strips can make your teeth up to 11 shades whiter.

Would you mind if I butted in To ask a question OP?

Do the teeth whitening products actually use bleach to whiten your teeth? Does it not erode your teeth? Always wanted to whiten my teeth but don't want to erode my teeth in the process!

My teeth are pretty white because I have to brush and floss everytime I eat or drink with these braces so I dont need anything too intense.

I do have sensitive teeth though but I guess any whitening is going to make them more sensitive anyway.

Ask your dentist to do the whitening for you. The law changed on 31st October regarding the strength of gel that can be used. You'll need gum shields similar to the Invisalign ones which you wear for 7-10 nights. If you get sensitivity, fill the gum shield with sensitive tooth paste and wear over night.
Don't buy random products over the Internet, anyone can sell anything and claim that it does everything.
The whitening gel from your dentist will not erode your teeth but non dentist supplied kits often contain very damaging ingredients.
Crest white strips work well too

Thanks fifi im definitely quite dubious about stuff online, even teeth whitening in salons doesn't sit well with me.

Im paying my dentist big money for invisalign so maybe I could persuade him to do it for free considering I wouldn't need trays made up.

I have attachments on my teeth too so the crest strips might not work on those which would leave me with white teeth with big yellowish barnacles on them!
