Just before Xmas there were some lovely ladies giving bra advice, but I can't seem to find the thread.
Having measured myself for the first time ever Embarrassed: Blush
I need to know where I can find a 29 or 30 C? I have searched M&S, John Lewis etc but have had no luck. Can anyone help?

Debenhams usually have a few. Or you might be lucky and find some in T K Maxx, they often have lots of ends of ranges in unusual sizes.

I have not seen any brands doing a 29 - if you think 30C should fit, try also 28D. Have you tried figleaves.com?

I just bought a couple of 28D Freya bras in the JL sale, and the same in Debenhams summer sale.

I think the trick with those shops is that you have to look under each 'brand' and some to 28 and 30 backs and some don't.

Same with M & S - some ranges have smaller backs and some don't.

28Cs are quite hard to find. Quite a few brands do 28Ds though so if I were you then I'd give that size a try.

Do you measure 29 under and 32 across?

That's right sorrel, I have done it correctly haven't I?

Thanks for the replies ladies, I guess I will need to have a harder look! The problem is I can't get out to shop much so ideally would love something I could order!

Still very excited about maybe one day having a bra that actually fits me!

Yes you did! OK, I'd say you're almost certainly a 28D with those measurements. I measure 30.5" and wear a 30 (and sometimes that's loose in some brands).

Try:

Bra Stop
Ewa Michalak (they don't show 28D on their site but will make any size you want!)
Miss Mandalay
Ebay

This is all so interesting. I measure 29 inches under bust but need a 32band

Brill, I will have a look now. I'm only little (5ft 3in and a size 8) so am over the moon to have what seems an enormous bra size yippee!

Thanks so much sorrel

dotty, sure your cup size is correct? If it's too small then people would often think the bra is too tight and go up a band size instead.
(of course it also depends on the brand, some are simply smaller)

Figleaves lepel fiore bras.

Cheap ,look nice and quite small on the band as well. I am closer to a 28D but i wear a 30C in this size.

Btw way can anyone help me - i measure 26/27 around the chest then 29/30 across my boobs. Am i wearing the right size ?

I.e a 28 C/D or a 30 C depending on the make ?

I would definitely try a 28d as quite a few brands start in that size. For a 28c, shockingly M&S do a few. 30C isn't quite so bad - have a look at figleaves to see which brands are available.

I got 3 lovely bras from the Autograph range, gorgeous ones with silk in a 30C in their summer sale, online it was the last size available and they were £5 each! Smile

I felt like my sister must feel when she goes shoe shopping in the sales, she's a size 3 and always bags bargains.
