Help with frizzy/fuzzy hair, please

Hi, I've got shoulder length, dyed, wavy hair, which tends to look flyaway, fuzzyish, IYSWIM. It looks great if I straighten it, but would like to keep the curlyness but with the smoothness that straighteners give. Would serum help? Am skint, so cheap advice pleeeease! Thanks x

I would suggest a gel that tames frizz but doesn't weigh down tour hair. I tend to use a spray gel that defines my curls, brush it through and then scrunch it with my hands and let it air dry. After that I don't brush it again until I wash it the next morning.

What happens when you just spray it with water or when you wash it and let it dry naturally? Does it look less fuzzy?

I use a serum on dd1 when her hair is frizzy and it does make it look healthier but it looks at its best if she washes it in the morning.

I don't have curly hair but it is wavy and frizzy, I find L'oreal mythic oil helps a lot, although the only thing that really works (together with the oil) is straightening

Thank you, everyone. I will try the suggestions above. I always let my hair air dry, and thats when frizziness is worst! Looks better when its a bit dirty (lovely!)

Put Argan oil on your hair when it's wet after washing and scrunch it dry,embrace the waves! I use that pink curly girl stuff from Boots (Italian name, can't remember) to break it up a bit more if necessary

I wash and condition and then put on a leave in conditioner and foxy curls creme. then leave to dry naturally. don't brush at all until you next wash it. no frizz!!

Leave in conditioner works wonders.
I use that then run through with a bit of serum after drying. Don't brush if you can help it, just use fingers or a very wide toothed comb.

My hair is always at it's fluffiest when just washed. I use leave in conditioner and mouse/gel/styling cream to give the curls a bit of definition. I wet it and comb through with a wide tooth comb then put in products and leave to air dry. Mine's very curly though.

A friend of mine has really frizzy hair, especially when there is moisture in the air. The thing is, instead of using expensive serums, she uses a 10p-sized drop of fabric conditioner and smooths it over her hair. I initially thought that she was mad and I spoke to my hairdresser about it, but my hairdresser uses it as well and her hair looks lovely.
