Jo Malone rerturns policy

Thought I would treat myself to some lovely bath oil as a Christmas present 'To Me, love Me'!. I bought Vanilla Anise and quite frankly it stinks!

I don't know whether its me (I had a bad experience with Pernod back in my drunken days!) But the smell has given me the worst headache and made me feel sick!

So what I want to know is will Jo Malone let me exchange for another fragrance? I bought it on line and to be honest I'll be naffed off paying £38 for a bath oil that makes me feel sick!

MIL bought me a LOAD of their stuff in fragrances I don't like about 18 months ago, I went back without a receipt and they exchanged the lot for stuff I like. And were really nice about it.

Based on my experience, I would imagine they will exchange it for you - or they risk losing a customer. I think their customers tad to be quite loyal?

What have you got to lose?

I have emailed them so hoping they will, like you said Poppy nothing to lose (apart from £38)!

I am going in to the Sloane Street store tomorrow to try and exchange some gifts I got on Christmas day - don't have receipts, but they are totally pristine, so here's hoping!

Poppywearer and leobear, the difference is although you haven't got receipts presumably they are unopened so they will probably exchange, the OP has opened the bottle, used some and decided she doesn't like it, not the shop's fault and why should they be willing to lose out on £38?

Yes, good point TheBuskersDog - I doubt they'll refund or exchange opened stuff! OP - Jo Malone sells really well on ebay, I've sold used fragrance and got a really good price. As you've used only a tiny bit, I reckon you may well make £30 on ebay, if you want to try that.
