I was thinking of getting a pair for my mum for xmas, and QVC have them as a TSV today. But after reading their reviews on QVC I'm not so sure. Lots of people complaining about boots slipping off. I have Uggs myself and no complaints what so ever. Has anyone got a pair of Emu's?

I had some EMU moccasins. They were lovely but huge confused. I gave them to my DM as her feet are bigger than mine sad.

Emus do slip off your feet more than uggs. Make you walk a bit "shuffly", but still very comfy.

I have some and prefer them to my Ugg's. Try too, they have some offers on, got an email yesterday.

My Emus did go awfully baggy smile

I love mine, I bought them in oz last year and have worn them almost everyday since, I'm very heavy footed and they have shown very little signs of wear. I can wear out a pair of uggs in less than 6 months!

My Emu's are much better than my Uggs. They fit better and the lining is much better quality.

I loved my pair - really warm and comfy and looked good. BUT they only later me one winter, the soles wore down and they were slippy. I did wear them an awful lot though. Not sure i would buy them again.

I have emus from NZ and they're the kind with the thick soles so no wearing down, no slipping off and very comfy!

Emus are great. When I went to Australia a few years ago I wanted to come back with some UGGs but every shop I went in only sold Emus. I was told that if I wanted Uggs I'd have to get them at the airport as they were only popular with the non-australians, since Emus are better quality, better value and are made with superior materials in comparison. I've had mine for 4 years and they have been brilliant.
