After 3 years of sporadically finding and then losing on Ebay I have just won the <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=pearl+lowe+peggy&um=1&hl=en&sa=N&tbo=d&biw=1920&bih=1032&tbm=isch&tbnid=DZ2s0xqNqAcSxM:&imgrefurl=fashion.telegraph.co.uk/galleries/TMG8117459/1/Pearl-Lowe-for-Peacocks-Christmas-2010-collection.html&docid=S1sNml4khXicnM&imgurl=ris.fashion.telegraph.co.uk/RichImageService.svc/imagecontent/1/TMG8117459/p/1-DAISY-PEARL-LOWE_1756329a.jpg&w=359&h=555&ei=p8-zUMutO8mc0QXAioCYDQ&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=213&sig=110579325638702042409&page=1&tbnh=146&tbnw=95&start=0&ndsp=84&ved=1t:429,r:2,s:0,i:91&tx=2&ty=37" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">Pearl Lowe Peggy dress Grin

That's lovely... I've seen one on for £50 at the moment. Is that in the ball park of what you paid?

Report
BunnyLebowski · 26/11/2012 20:35

I paid £70 headfairy Blush

My justification is that I've wanted it for 3 years and will wear it forever as it's so classic and so so so me.

They're going for silly money. Clearly!

Don't have to justify it to me, it's really lovely. And the one on for £50 is a starting bid with 4 days to go. I'm sure you're going to get tons of wear out of that. Was it new?

Report
BunnyLebowski · 26/11/2012 20:52

New without tags. Had been tried on but was being sold due to weight gain. Someone's gain is my gain too Wink

Now how do I style it? Black accessories or colour?

How deep is the neckline? I love that!

You have great taste :)

BunnyLebowski · 26/11/2012 21:03

It doesn't look too indecent Caja. And I'm not averse to a big wee bit of cleavage!

I won it by 14p. There's some Ebayer out there cursing me right now!

Its lovely. I remember when the collection launched and I salivated over the pics, but was still bfing dd2 and carrying loads of excess weight (and not really going to parties much that year) so didn't get to the shops....

Still waiting for the postie. Very impatiently!

Bunny-do you know that peacocks is back online and there are 4 pearl lowe dresses in the collection? I have ordered 2 of them!!

The red one is lovely but not with my knockers.

Thank you Apples Smile

I didnt order the red one as I agree dont think it is flattering to norks! ordered the flower and ballerina print-I have high hope for the ballerina one as is very similar to the star print pearl lowe which is my favourite dress ever!

Report
BunnyLebowski · 30/11/2012 11:27

The ballerina one is really nice. I have a similar one from New Look which is one of my all time favourites.

Think there's a pic on my profile. I wear it all the time Smile

I'm watching that dress on eBay at the moment it's in £31 with 2 hours to go. It's in a size 14 though. I'm 31 weeks pregnant but thought I could get it for after the bang is born.... I don't know though.
