What tights with this dress?

I have this dress - lovely fit except that on me at 5ft 8" in stocking feet it is very very short indeed and so I don't want to wear nude tights with it, it looks obscene.

However, with black tights (opaque or sheer) will it not be too much black? Long black sleeves, black dress, black tights, black shoes (I only have nude or black shoes). Or is it okay and just acceptably vampy?

Black tights will be fine, imo because you have lace on the arms, which adds a bit of texture/interest.

You can get thick nude coloured tights if you worry about too much black
