1920's style dress for pear shape - help please

Need to find a suitable dress for themed party but don't think the ubiquitous tassel mini dresses will do me any favours at all.

The dropped waist is not for pear shapes as it's so up and down.

although this is lovely

ever so slightly wrong era But only an arse would point it out. Also- v. wearable.
